Woodrow Wilson was the 28th President of the United States who served from 1913 to 1921. He was known for his progressive policies, including the establishment of the Federal Reserve System and the signing of the Clayton Antitrust Act. Wilson also played a major role in the establishment of the League of Nations, which aimed to promote world peace and prevent future wars. However, his presidency was not without controversy, especially in regards to his handling of World War I and civil rights issues. Wilson suffered a stroke in 1919 that left him partially paralyzed, and his health continued to decline until his death in 1924.
