Teenage Years Are Best Years in One's Life

Time and tide waits for no man. Although this saying may seem incredibly cliched, this proves to be the most truthful statement of all. Man are often engaged in the never ending chase for time. Many have wasted their youth away during their teenage years and only to regret after it has been a forgone conclusion. i agree that the tennage years are the best years of one's life.

Tennagers are generally full of vitality and energy. This advantage allows them to conquer the world literally, experience new insights, gain wisdom and acquire knowledge.

Teenagers can also challenge themselves to practise extreme physical sports like mountain climbing. Often free from financial burdens, nothing pulls them back from pursuing academic excellence and various desires.

However, many teenagers misintepret the meanings of life. They do not have indivisuality due to the lack of knowledege and wisdom to proceed with logical thinking. Some teenagers do not have their parents to guide them along this course of life.

Therefore, these teenagers begin to assume that the teenage years are the worst years of their lives.

Some teenagers also feel apart from their peers because of looks, grades or achievement injustice. They are tempted to see how far they can push the status quo.

The statistics in Straits Times Interative shows that most of the angst-filled teenagers come from stable homes where their parents are professionals. They are lack of love from their busy parents and urgently wants to seek the attention of their parents.

Therefore, many teenagers began to worship metal bands like Atreyu, Cradle of Filth and Bleeding Through and resort to foolish acts like self -mutilation.

Many teenagers start to believe that the slitting of wrist and writting poems glorifying their suicide attempts can show their support for emo bands and even be as cool as these bands. This wrong perception is due to the satanic appearance and angst-filled lyrics of metal bands.

In conclusion, I strongly feel that teenage years are still nevertheless the best years of one's life. With extra guidance and stricter censorship of metal bands, I believe that the true beauty of teenage years will soon dawn upon the youths in today's society.

The Teenage Years

Growing up is a hard process, especially for those who are experiencing their adolescent years. Everyone who has gone through this process agrees that these years have been some of the most awkward and strangest years of their lives; the ‘teen years’ is a period of time in which the majority of people tend to have rebellious and irresponsible behavior, where it’s easy to feel isolated and where everything bad that happens is the “end of the world”. Teenagers seem to hate everything around them; they seem to always “know what’s best” and to think of adults as fake and annoying due to their beliefs and their way of speaking. On the other hand, many adults do not know how to communicate to teenagers because they have lost a certain understanding of what it’s like to be a teen.

To begin with, this essay will concentrate on the difficulties that teenagers can have while trying to gain a sense of belonging in society and, simply, trying to fit in with a group of friends while fighting their feelings of being excluded and different from those around them. it is so important for teens to have a healthy relationship with their family and for the family to be supportive and to openly communicate with their children. A great way to define adolescence is to call it a ‘state of confusion’ or a blur of emotions and anxiety of various issues or problems.

One of the most common feelings that teenagers have is that feeling of not fitting in, whether it be society, school or their family, the issue lies on the fact that they do not know what they really want to do and.. Being a teenager is really tough. It's the where you have to deal and cope with the most changes, in your whole life. This transition from childhood to adulthood is smooth for some, but rough for others. The most important thing about being a teenager is responsibility. When you're a teenager, you get blamed for anything wrong you do, get grounded, punished, unlike before when you were a child, and you could get away with murder, and nobody could do anything about it! You can say goodbye to those days now!

It's all not so bad about being a teenager though. Now you don't have to have your parents take you to somewhere you want to go, and somewhere you couldn't go before. You can go with friends and have fun, which you couldn't because all of you were too little to know what fun is! You can now go to amusement parks, parties etc. with friends, or even alone. It's a very enjoyable time of life, if you do the right stuff, and put thought into what you are doing. But with all good things, must come the bad. During this age, you are old and hopefully smart enough to understand what is good for you, and make decisions without consulting others. But with that comes risk, and nowadays, fun stuff are usually bad stuff.

With the society turning for the bad as days pass, the teens are getting into all sorts of trouble with drugs and alcohol. Thirty years ago, drugs were something that older people never talked about and nor did they ever see. Alcohol was small thing that the good people such as churchgoers never touched, but they preached about it. Every town has a town drunk. In today's society teens see alcohol and drugs at least once a day or more. Thirty years ago drugs were a little harder to find, teenagers did not have access at the time. So, today they face more peer pressure to where now it is illegal and thirty years ago it was legal and not a problem.

Also, teenagers are under much pressure for their studies, because if they don't pass, they don't get jobs, and things take turn for the worse. With the world economy in crisis, you have to do really, really well in your educational degrees, to even have a look in for a job. It's really taking a toll on teenagers these days, and bad thing is, they can't do anything about it, and neither is there and option. Adults say that when we become their age, it's the hardest part of life. But I think they're wrong, the teenager year of one's life is the hardest. The transition from a kid to an adult is way harder, than being already and adult, but getting different responsibilities. What you do in your teenage years will determine what you become and how you lead your life in the future.

In conclusion, I think parents put unnecessary pressure, in an already stressed out teenagers, which is very wrong. Next time you see a teen; don't be so hard on them. Think about what you went through when you were that age, and it'll be much better living condition if people realized that. But the teens themselves, know what is best for them, the way of live you choose at this age, can make you happy for the rest of your life, or make you miserable. So think about what you're going to do, and make the wise decisions when they matter the most. Many adults share the popular opinion of your best time in life to be your teenage years, and that you don't realize this until you have grown up.

This statement is entirely correct because as teenagers, there are many things we do not realize or learn from unless we experience them ourselves. How are we to know these magnificent happenings in life if we have not yet gained insight on what is good and what is bad? During our teenage years we go through several changes and accomplish our much-wanted independence and detachment. As adults we are simply too busy with other things to really apprehend the beauty of life.

Changes may either be exciting or not a big deal at all; however, change is mainly appreciated because it always ends up for the better. My Life as Teenager

The teenage years - loved and loathed by some and encountered by all! Many people have their memories of being a teenager, they remember being young and mischievous and being free of the responsibilities that they have now. However, there is one thing that every teenager whether now or then has in common - the 'hatred' for the 'boundary setters' in their lives whether it's their parents or teacher it's hatred-pure hatred.

One of the joys of being a teenager is the fact that we have a lot of free time when not doing school or housework. We do not necessarily have to work for our money. There is always some sort of bribery to get what we want e.g., we may act a real goody to get what we want. Illustrated in the following dialogue.

Daughter; 'Hi mum, you're looking very beautiful today and are you taking exercise classes, because your belly seems to have flattened and, oh my goodness, is that a new hairstyle you like the sun in all it's glory?' Mum: 'Exactly what do you want because I got my hair done 2 weeks ago, the size of my belly has increased because I have been checking my weight on the scales every day and I have rings round my eyes due to the stress that you kids have piled on me, so I want to know what's going on?'

Daughter: 'Oh nothing it's just the fact that I think that I need some new gear because those trainers are so last week so what do you say mum because if I don't get them I am going to be the laughing stock of my school.'

Mum: 'Well I guess you can have them seeing as you have been well behaved both in school and at home, you've been cleaning the house an awful lot these days. but don't think that I don't know your tricks I know that after you've got what you want you will soon dessert all your good behaviour and return to your normally bad self but don't worry I am anticipating that. Honestly, you kids today are so spoilt, in my days we had to work for whatever we wanted and even then, if our parents saw that the work was not sufficient for them to reward us we would not get whatThe teen years are the time children grow into distinct individuals that are energetic, thoughtful, and idealistic. An individual's teen years may be their best years of their lives and it is important he/she takes the time to live them out. Though this does not mean that everything is downhill once adulthood is reached.

There are a great number of things teens can enjoy that adults could not one of which is a close friendship upon growth. But there are also many things adults can enjoy that teens cannot such as a personal car, good salary and time. As a teen, a place to live as well as food is not a problem because teens still live with parents. Living conditions are an issue for adults, but they may live with more freedom. With each side having its own advantages and disadvantages, one cannot determine which years are the best. But it is important that everyone takes the time to appreciate all years of life as each day brings anew experience. Upon reaching adolescence, a teenager interacts with a great number of new and old faces that will change the individual as they grow. Just as special memories are made with parents and siblings, more memories are made with those one grows with; namely the high school friends who ultimately shapes a teenager's personality.

As an adult this cannot happen as the individual has all grown up and the personality is carved in stone. Memories made as an adult are less significant but one will never forget the years of growing up since they are the building blocks, which has made the individual. One's time as a teen is more precious and memorable than that of an adult and it is important that these years are cherished. Time spent with close friends is precious, but would it not be more memorable if one could spend more time growing and travel? An adult is able to travel with the excellent money earned by a university graduate salary as well as a personal car to get around.

But the most important advantage is the... [continues] Teenage Years People who are nostalgic about childhood, were obviously never children. Few people can remember the truth about adolescence. Their minds "censor" their memories ;and have them believe that being a teenager was was one big party, free of cares and responsibilities. Well let me say this, you couldnt be more wrong if you had a lobotomy. There aren't that many adults around who realise what adolescence was really like.

The anguish, the fear, the anxiety, The Teenage Years

THE TEENAGE YEARS: HOLDEN S STRUGGLE In the novel Catcher in the Rye, Holden Caulfield, as an individual entity is internally torn up by dividing forces. One supports adolescence, ... the stress. People don't remember those problems because they want to forget them. The truth of the matter is, is that being a teenager is hard, right from the beginning, and it doesn't get any easier. We are such easy prey for big name companies who advertise using the pressure of popularity, looks and sex to force us to buy their product that, as it turns out, we never wanted or needed in the first place.

Our lives are Teenagers Rebelious Years

Teenagers Rebellious Years People say that life begins at thirteen. The time of their life that kids love, and parents hate. The days gone when Little Johnny ... filled with stress. One of the greatest sources of pressure is school. Where we are herded like cattle from room to room, chewing on our cud, while the hay of knowledge is force fed to us as we are trying our hardest to gulp it down as more and more is shovelled in. Another great source of pressure is ourselves. We try our hardest to be accepted among a certain group or circle.

Whereas most of the time we are Teenage Years Are Depressing

Teenage years are depressing because they are going through some of the biggest changes in their life. Teens start high school and have to deal with being little in ... rejected and we become depressed. Depression, another problem, along with ignorance and apathy that thwarts our lives. A wise man when questioned about his view on ignorance and apathy, said "I don't know, and I don't give a damn. We find outlets for our emotions through either art, poetry or music, being the three most common. There are thousands of poems floating around written by bitter or depressed teenagers that are never recognised as works of art. Another form Should the teenage years still be referred to as the wonder years “Go on.” “Everybody’s doing it.” “It’s only one drink.” “You’re such a loser.” I didn’t know what to do.

The life goes through many kind of circumstances, the ages decide how we take these in our life there are three main ages childhood, adolescence and old. Childhood and old has one similarity both needs care and wants attention of loved one,s but dissimilarity is that old has got its experienced certification but childhood is beginning of this course. All these ages have their importance in life .among all there is one age which comes betwixt of childhood and adolescence i.e teenage. Its very critical and energetic age , it can break all records of prosperity and destruction as well. Actually a person in this age can hardly decide whether he is still a child or he is mature, that is why he thoughts his decisions are right and what he does is right. The sudden departure from childhood and feet proceeding towards adolescence develops restlessness in him. This restlessness can lead him to good as well as bad things depending upon type of friends he has and his breeding which comes only from family. Breeding never goes waste, it shows its reflections one day or other.

The person in this usually gets attracted to and shows curiosity towards drugs, sexual relationships, body parts related to sex etc. The abrupt change in body creates chaos in one,s mind. The blood flows very fast so there is less tire seen in a person. If one handles it in best way no one in his life can stop him from being successful. But in addition to this the family right care and support works a lot, family must understand their psychological condition and must handle affairs in that way. Then this teen age will lead a person to successful adolescence and this will in turn lead to good experienced old age.
