Another woman, Zulema Hernandez, was his lover in Guadalajara's Puente Grande High Security Prison. He started moving really heavy by the late 1970s, Guzmn had proven his value in the narcotics business and begun working with another rising young dealer named H©ctor Luis Palma Salazar. Guzmn oversaw the movement of drugs from his home district of Sinaloa, a crucial drug trafficking area on the western end of Mexico where narcotics flowed north to coastal cities and into the United States. He then started his own cartel. He named his cartel Sinaloa, he probably named it to symbolize where he started moving the drugs and where it all started. He quickly gained members of his cartel by forcing and the power he had in Mexico. Also, most people feared him and was scared to say no to him do to that he will probably kill their family and don't even care about it. All of the gang members were scared to cross him because they knew the consequences behind the action if they ever tried to cross El Chapo. Over a period of time, his cartel had quickly gained power over Mexico and is the most feared cartels in Mexico. The cartel has been accused of killing over 1,000 people throughout Mexico including incompetent henchmen and rival bosses.

According to Armenta, there have been no mass demonstrations of El Chapo support so far, although in 2014 and 2015 marches were held. The general public's attitude towards the Brooklyn Process seems indifferent, which is reflected in Mexican media coverage. "I don't care anymore for my general feeling of only talking to friends of Mexico and other journalists. Actually, I believe they should be careful, "Beith said. I think this actually is wrong. "This is of enormous significance to Mexico, because they want to open their courts in order to get the judicial system of Mexico from us. (SOLOTAROFF)El Chapo was arrested for the first time in Guatemala on June 9, 1993, and was deported to Mexico and sentenced to 20 years and nine months in prison on charges of drug trafficking and criminal association. He was jailed at Federal Social Readaptation Center. On November 22, 1995, he was moved to another maximum security prison known as Puente Grande in Jalisco, after being convicted of three crimes: possession of firearms, drug trafficking and the murder of Cardinal Juan Jesєs Posadas Ocampo but later that charge of murder was being dismissed by another judge. He had been tried and sentenced inside the federal prison on the outskirts of Almoloya de Jurez, Mexico State.

While still in prison in Mexico, Guzmn was indicted in San Diego on U.S. charges of money laundering and importing tons of cocaine into California, along with his Sinaloa attorney Humberto Loya-Castro who was charged with bribing Mexican officials with money and making sure that any cartel members arrested were released from custody. After a ruling by the Supreme Court of Mexico made extradition between Mexico and the United States easier, El Chapo paid the guards to help him escape from prison. On January 9, 2001, Francisco Camberos Rivera a prison guard at the time had opened El Chapo electronically operated cell door, and El Chapo got into a laundry cart a rolled through several doors and eventually out the front door. He was then transported in the trunk of a car driven by Camberos out of the town. At a gas station, Camberos went inside, but when he came back, El Chapo was gone on foot into the night.

During the whole planning of the escape, it has been said that up to 78 people were helping El Chapo escape from prison. Camberos is in prison for helping El Chapo escape from prison. The police say El Chapo carefully masterminded his escape plan, by putting fear and bribing almost everyone in the prison, including the main person over the prison. Almost half of the people who were involved in the escape is now in prison for helping El Chapo escape. It was one prison guard who came forward to report the situation at the prison but he was killed by El Chapo cartel 7 years later. El Chapo allegedly had the prison guards on his payroll, smuggled into the prison and received preferential treatment from the staff. In addition to the prison-employee accomplices, police in Jalisco were paid off to ensure he had at least 24 hours to get out of the state and stay ahead of the military manhunt. The story told to the guards being bribed not to search the laundry cart was that El Chapo was smuggling gold, supposedly extracted from at the inmate workshop, out of the prison.

The escape all together had cost El Chapo $2.5 million.El Chapo is not technically accused of murder, but the public prosecutors said they intend to tie him to over 30 homicides"so potential jurors are no mistake to be rude about week and months ahead although the lawyers of El Chapo kindly promised that no one will be murdered by their client. Each juror is currently protected by the U.S. Marshal's Service, whose officers will transport him every day during the trial, between his homes and the courthouse in Downtown Brooklyn.

The jury ended on Thursday Morning with seven women and five men and six alternate jurors” four women and two men” who selected to hear the most minute details of El Chapo's alleged crimes for the next three to four months. It's a different crowd of people, from the motherly fluency of a juror who used to talk with a "Mexican gentleman who lived with me," who have a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds, including a minimum of three immigrants and four Spaniards. (SOLOTAROFF)El Chapo longevity and evasion of authorities, assisted by alleged bribes to federal, state and local Mexican officials. Despite the progress made in arresting others in the aftermath of El Chapo escape, including a handful of his foremost logistics and security men, the huge military and federal police manhunt failed to capture El Chapo for years.

In the years between his escape and capture, he was Mexico's, most-wanted man. El Chapo elusiveness from law enforcement made him a near-legendary figure in Mexico's narcotics folklore; stories abounded that El Chapo sometimes strolled into restaurants, his bodyguards confiscating peoples' cellphones, he ate his meal and then left after paying everyone's tab. Rumors circulated of El Chapo being seen in different parts of Mexico and abroad. For more than 13 years, Mexican security forces coordinated many operations to re-arrest him, but their efforts were largely in vain as EL Chapo appeared to be steps ahead from his captors. While he was in prison, El Chapo Drug Empire and cartel continued to operate unabated that was run by his brother Arturo Guzmn Loera better known as El Pollo. El Chapo himself still considered a major international drug trafficker by Mexico and the U.S. even while he was behind bars.

Associates brought him suitcases of cash to bribe prison workers and allow the drug lord to maintain his wealthy lifestyle even in prison, with prison guards acting like his servants. He met his longtime mistress and later Sinaloa associate, former police. Hernndez later controlled Sinaloa's expansion into Mexico City, but in 2008 her body was found in a trunk, carved with multiple Zs a drug that most famous people use, signifying Los Zetas, Sinaloa's archrivals. (Vincent)With all the criminal records and all the killings, he was responsible for El Chapo was not a broke man. El Chapo was the 10th richest man in Mexico and the 1,140th richest man in the world. Many people believe that he had more money that but he keeps most of his money sealed up where no one could find it but him. El Chapo net worth is nearly 14 billion dollars.

El Chapo is still making money will in prison. One of El Chapo sons is running the business alongside with one of his longtime friends. His cartel is still the most powerful in Mexico and is still running good.El Chapo downfall was that he greedily pushed for a cut in the profits from Sinaloa's local dealers, alienating his own power base. Combine that with his increasingly bizarre antics ” more on that later ” and it's clear why he's become a responsibility to his partners, mostly Zambada. Mexico's sources tell me that Zambada age and ailing wanted to take away his billions and quietly retire.Mexico's drug king, Joaquin Guzman, "El Chapo," Loera might be brought to trial in Brooklyn's federal court tomorrow. But, under the leaders of his two favorite sons, his trillions-dollar cartel continues to flourish.

The defendant's sons remain responsible for his vast empire in drug trafficking, "the US prosecutors recently said, preparing Guzman's case for trial. The communication to the federal Judge Brian Cogan on 28 October continues to give a terrible warning regarding the safety of all testifying against the drug lord in the trial: "The defendant and his cartel are In the Top 10 List of Drugs Enforcement Administration, Alfredo, 32, who is known also by his underworld monikers was added. Without doubt capable, resourceful and willing in harming cooperating witnesses. Two years ago Alfredo and five Sinaloa associates kidnapped in a tony beach resort restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, associated with the Jalisco cartel. He was held for about a week and released on ostensibly Guzman's orders, which threatened to go after the families of Jalisco Nueva Generaciіn from his Mexican prison camp, according to the Federal source.

The brothers have been traveling more and more by private flights since the abduction, said the source. They once assembled an aircraft were used to carry drugs as well. Fleet of aircraft to rival Aero Mexico for the Sinaloa cartel, according to the court papers.Alfredo, who he described as "one of the main Sinaloa cartel leaders," was, according to the Mexican authorities, responsible for buying the aircraft, mainly through an American partner in Midwest United States to avoid suspicions. Under Federal Aviation Administration rules only Americans or permanent residents shall be permitted to purchase aircraft in this country. Alfredo is also responsible for the vast immobilization of the cartel in Mexico and oversees the majority of drug cartel shipments to the USA. Their trial will be watched closely, and the former DEA agent said that Alfredo and Ivan are still valid, and that threat will be real.
