First, it is essential that we all acquire knowledge as it is critical in our existence including the day to day activities. With the right knowledge that is, in this case, acquired and based on reason and not experience one can make sound decisions in life. For instance, with the right knowledge gained through reason, one can assess and evaluate situations effectively hence pursuing that, which suits and resolves his issues.

Secondly, individual freedom is of much importance especially in the fast-evolving world that is full of economic activities. As such, the social contract with freedom and equality is of utmost significance owing to its applicability in the contemporary world and its overall influence. Normally, with an elaborate social contract with freedom and equality the global community can be positioned in a free world where people do not have to be restricted on what they can do or even where they can work from. For instance, due to the inadequacy of elaborate social contract with freedom and equality, people cannot move freely from one country to the other while we all claim to be free and living in a free world (GMU, 2018). This is because of the set limits and restrictions by the government and the respective authorities.
Human Rights and Religious Tolerance
Ultimately, human rights with religious tolerance is also crucial in modern civilization. This is because the two elements, human rights and religious tolerance, have instilled some good characters and behaviors including how people interact and solve issues. For instance, owing to the existing level of religious tolerance, a significant fraction of the global community can now resolve issues at ease and with utmost professionalism hence impacting human rights positively.
Influence of the Enlightenment
In conclusion, the Enlightenment era has been and is of much importance in modern civilization as it has influenced the contemporary social, political, and religious structures and plans positively. However, there is need to further improve on the incorporation of the Enlightenment elements to give the global community a better experience socially, politically, and in the religious scope.
