Ethical framework is referred to as a system of words an individual may use to conduct his or her behavior. This type of framework may use ethics to show how individuals are able to differentiate right from wrong in a particular way communicated within the world. Ethical moral framework becomes established by an individual’s moral judgment on what he or she believes to be the best possible solution in a specific case. This allows moral values to be developed to help shape behavior, learn respect, and improve relationships with other human beings surrounding the individual (Uhlmann).
By being able to understand the significance between right and wrong will grant a core aspect in life to improving positive characteristics in an individual. Furthermore, exceptional moral values will continue to allow an individual to grow by making appropriate choices and exceeding communication with other people in life.
In a professional atmosphere, moral ethical framework in society can play a huge role in family, education, media, government and religion.
This is based upon making required decisions using specific values and beliefs that go above self-centeredness. As a professional working in a large organization, my goals of having great ethical framework involves having confident integrity, honesty, fidelity, responsibility and self-discipline.
These types of values as a professional will acknowledge good judgment, truthfulness, fairness, faithfulness to clients, loyalty to employer and profession, reliability, accountability, and acting with reasonable restraint. Secondly, core ethical values correlate with ethical beliefs and should be lived in an amicable way using love to drive individuals together.
Having meaningful core ethical frameworks of values and beliefs, it will unite individuals together, lead to higher expectations, and allow everyone to feel respected (Ferrell). Working in this professional atmosphere will allow the opportunity to work hard and prosper success in not only myself but also, others surrounding me.
Before taking a job amongst an organization, the discussion of the organization's ethical framework of values and beliefs should be discussed and how it is regularly monitored. Acknowledging an organization's core values and beliefs, I will be able to put the good of the organization and the general good before my own interests and ego.
This also characterizes ethical leadership in making positive decisions that is best for the organization and for those I am responsible over (Jiang). If the organization's core ethical values and beliefs do not align with my viewpoint or philosophy, I will be determined to not change my ethical values and beliefs under any circumstances or allow it to change within time. This decision is due to the disconnection between myself and the organization's values and beliefs to be dysfunctional and unethical. For example, if the organization decides to hire me with different operating values, the organization will not only suffer from being less efficient, but I will be going against my own trust, leadership, and doubt in wisdom.
As a future child life specialist, core values and professional competency will go hand and hand when performing particular tasks in my profession. Using my core ethical values and beliefs, I will be able to recognize the diversity of an individual's strengths and needs and be able to acknowledge the importance of support and family-centered care. Utilizing integrity, honesty, fidelity, responsibility, and self-discipline in this profession, I will also be able to build relationships based upon trust and respect and use problem-solving skills enabling individuals to effectively deal with development, health, and well-being (Garcia). Having these types of related core values and beliefs in my work atmosphere, my profession as a child life specialist will strive to meet the needs of infants, children, and families with the uncertainty of illness, injury, and treatment.
