Compare and contrast your way of life with that of your parents. Which way of life do you think would be more satisfying to future generations?
Nowadays, people have changed the way they live. When comparing my generation with my parents', there are differences in job preferences and the definition of success.
Both generation X and Y prefer working for reputable companies over small ones. However, generation X tends to change jobs more frequently than generation Y. Our parents' generation, on the other hand, is more loyal to the company they work for.
This is because they had limited access to new information, unlike us who have the advantage of communication technology. We can easily access new information from around the world, which exposes us to new ideas every day. Furthermore, the advancement of technology has made us believe that anything is possible, and as a result, the new generation tends to quit jobs and prefer to be their own boss.
Another difference between the two generations is the pursuit of life.

Our parents' generation tended to get married and start families at a young age, whereas young people today tend to postpone marriage. The new generation believes that they need to be financially successful before settling down. This is supported by statistics showing a decline in the proportion of children population and a rise in the proportion of elderly people.
In conclusion, I believe there are advantages and disadvantages to both our parents' and our way of life. For example, the older generation is more patient and persistent, while the new generation tends to get bored easily.
If the next generation combines the best of both worlds, they will be able to overcome obstacles and do what they love.
