Why I Want To Teach Massage Therapy?

I have always thought that life would be a lot more complicated than it seems. When I was younger, I had a lot of questions about my surroundings; most of which I found very challenging. I though to myself how different I am – and how much of myself I could give to help other people.

            Always reach for the star. That is my ultimate goal in life. Every endeavor that a man wishes to take is destined to happen at the right time and with great purpose.

I have been hoping and planning to be enrolled in a program on becoming a massage therapy instructor. I can say that my previous working experience and my learning history has great impact once I mixed it with a degree that will allow me to renew my license.

I believe that this is the right time for me to take another level of my career as a physical therapist. We all live to learn. I believe that taking up the said program will make me achieve all my goals in life. I take courage and I know that I have the right determination and qualities that will make me succeed in my chosen field.

My academic and practical experiences made me a better person. I currently own a spa which I establish 20 years ago. I am happy to hire massage therapists every known and then to serve my beloved costumers.

I am in charge of managing the said business when it comes to training people since I used to teach massage therapy way back 1980’s. Up9on managing my business I became so busy and I failed to renew my license as an instructor. Nevertheless I believe that being a spa owner made me an everyday instructor to my attendants and crew.

We enjoy serving our customers and giving them the right service that they need. I use to monitor my attendants during their shift to ensure that they are doing the right massage to the customers. This commitment and dedication to my establishment made me a candidate for a BSC in marketing this coming December 2008. I believe that this marketplace experience guaranteed me to go back to my passion in teaching massage therapy to students. I wanted to partake in molding minds of future therapist and mold them to be the best massage therapist as possible.

I opt to undergo a class to gain license in teaching again and I am confident that this will make me the best on my chosen field. Since I am really into massage therapy, I wish to spice it up by refreshing my knowledge by attending this class which will teach me how business and leadership goes hand in hand.

My short term goal is to finish the program in a very timely manner. As a student I also aspire to be an above average type since I believe that learning is a give and take process. I am willing to participate in discussions where I will share my ideas based on my marketing, massage therapy and leadership experiences. After finishing the said class, I will then resume my profession as an instructor and multiply the knowledge to my future students.

            I see my personal and academic experiences as stages of growth that have helped me to understand my own potential and the road that I wish to take in life. While vast opportunities are before me, I feel that my true calling lies in the fascinating and challenging world of massage therapy. I take one step at a time to manage my skills in a way that will lead to further enhancement and development. Life is a roller coaster and there are certain events where my abilities are put into test which later on taught me how strong I should be.

            I believe that being enrolled in this program this coming (insert date of enrollment), 2008 will add further knowledge on my previous studies. The program is designed to teach me again and feed me with ideas that I will encounter again in the teaching profession. After the said program I see myself successful in having a teaching career on this field and making massage therapy a more enjoyable subject.     I’ve chosen this specific program because of its focus, essence, and emphasis on learning massage therapy the non conventional way.

            Highly motivated to succeed, I picture myself going through this program and learning many things about massage therapy. Choosing (insert name of university where you want to study) is one great choice because this university will make my ambitions more attainable since I will be completing my degree in a university which recruits the best, most responsible, and finest students. I believe that attending this program will surely ease the path towards reaching my goals.

I wish to establish a career that will make me a well known massage therapy instructor Surgeon in the future.  I want to establish more massage centers that will benefit my clients and where my students can have direct application on what they have learned form me. There may be challenges faced by massage therapist along the way. It requires critical thinking, right decision making and commitment to responsibility. My desired profession is on its way to fulfillment because I am really driven to establishing it in the future.  I am hard working and accept challenges optimistically. I have been preparing myself throughout my education and work. And seriously, I feel well equipped to meet it.

I am confident that the class I will be attending will teach me how to enhance more of my skills which will make me a good and responsible instructor. I believe how massage therapy thrives on innovation, clinical breakthroughs, refining current techniques and discovering new ones. I know that all of these will not be made possible if I don't have a refresher course and renewed license. That's why I am very eager to be admitted as one of the lucky students to undergo the said class. I know that this is the right time for me to study because it is beyond the traditional teaching method that this prestigious school is offering me. I can encourage my fellow therapists to also undergo the program because it teaches unique and exemplary leadership and massage skills.

With hopes and persuasion in my mind, I am having the ambition of teaching and working at the same time. Now that I realized what goal I wanted to pursue in life, I am working hard to succeed. I feel that this is the right time for me to take a major step towards my true goal. I also believe that all of my life experiences have been necessary to bring me to this point. I have self-discipline, enough determination, and the right mindset to take any challenge head on. I also have the commitment to pursue and apply the knowledge and skills that the class will impart on me that will drive me through the years to come. I look forward to my future with great anticipation. I know that the time has finally come for me to realize my dreams and make them come true.

            I can definitely say that I have grown into a more mature human being. From being the laid back type of person, I became the independent and determined individual I am today. My passion for massage therapy also contributed to my growth. The intensive training and the hard work that I encountered on my spa made me realize that life is tough, but definitely rewarding.

            Success is not only about being known worldwide and acquiring a lot of money– it is also measured by the support and contributions that we make in our society. Achieving a degree from your school would help me go up another step higher than my current status. With everything that I possess, I know that this school will help boost my abilities for me to shine and be different from the others. This is something I will hold on to for the rest of my life.
