It is true that engineering is hard compares to many other majors, but it is also true that after four years of hard work in college, most engineers can make good money and can find job easily. Furthermore, engineering work is always challenging and interesting to do. Ever since high school, I have seen beauty and elegance in physics and calculus. And math and physics is the foundation of engineering. So engineering seemed like a logical choice. I could have done that in a science degree, but an engineering degree has much better career prospects.
I have always wanted to understand how things work, and how they are built.
When I am a child, I often take something apart to see what’s inside of it, just because I want to find out how it works.
When I am order, I have learnt that engineering is all about how to make things work and helping people to solve the problem while science focuses on the fundamental understanding of why something works or behaves the way it does.

And I find that engineering is more interesting for me.
The engineering field is very broad.
There are many division of engineering. I am sure I can find one that interests me the most. So I think engineering is a very good choice for college students. In fact, the other reason I choose engineering is because CSULB has good engineering program. However, engineering work is usually hard, and it takes creativity to do it.
It sounds hard, and as an engineer we often have to explore new possibilities, and it just makes engineering ever more exciting.
I believe engineering is rather a way of thinking than skill.
By becomes an engineer, we can gain understanding to how does everything work around us, not just some sort of living skill. It is way more useful than other major. Study something interest you is always more effect than study something people told you to study. In conclusion, I believe engineering is a good filed for me to study, and I could become a good engineering in the further.
