Making a Plan

First of all, making a plan will save one’s time. Even when one has a lot of time, s/he should remember that you just have one life and one chance to be young. Especially when people are young, it is better to climb the stairs of success carefully to be successful at an older age. So, thinking carefully and making good plans will bring fruitful results. For example, a student who have chosen a wrong department to study at university may lose four to five years of his or her life. So, a wrong decision and planning cost for many years. Also, this person will be behind of his/her peers at his/her career.

Second, getting rid of the risk saves one from the obstacles and that is less challenging to reach the goal. When you encounter any problems or obstacles on your way, you can always have a plan B or C. This is a very good part of having plans. You will never be desperate. When one person take a risk, it is not clear that s/he will be successful or not. For example, when you start your start your own business and have little money, it is risky. You may lose all your money or you may be successful. At this point, you should think about taking risks carefully, concerning you have little money to spare. It is better to have some plans not to get into trouble while you are trying to reach your goals.

Staying Focused

Lastly, being focused makes one more into his/her work and, thus, one will become more motivated. This increases the effectiveness of your efforts and initiatives. To illustrate, think that you’re on a vacation and you want to see the tourist attractions, visit some museums, taste the cuisine and get the most out of your holiday. When you have some plans in mind beforehand, you will be more organised and you are going to spend your days more fruitful. On the other hand, if you have no plans, you can just spend your day at one or two important places.

To sum up, when you think of all pros and cons, it is best to plan ahead. Antoine de Saint-Exupery says, ” A goal without a plan is just a wish.” I firmly believe that, in order to achieve your dreams and reach your goals, you should always have a plan.
