One of the most significant decisions in life is the choice of career. A shrewd decision made based of factor ranging from latent interests, inherent skills to scope and satisfaction. My choice of career has emanated from careful analysis and planning I have always believed in the best and then, given my innate potential, assimilated knowledge and positive attitude. I am confident; I will succeed in my endeavor.

My fascination for engineering has been long standing and persistent. Ever since my school days I have enjoyed studying Mathematical and physical sciences and have had an inclination for problem solving and desire to know more , from which , I drew the inspiration to imbibe the true spirits of Engineering in a precious institution . I have completed Bachelors with majors in Mechanical Engineering.

After completing my graduation with excellence, I was placed in Tata Hitachi India through campus placement at my college. There I was the incharge of the entire service for all Excavators (starting from 20T to 120 Ton variant) and for managing and leading a team of 35 members. However, after working there for 16 Months, I felt the need for a better career progression. Due to my good work performance at Tata Hitachi, in no time, I was able to achieve a job offer letter in Sany Heavy Industries India in 2017.

In Sany, I am responsible for managing and incharging the entire excavator, motor grader and transit mixture production. I am also responsible for leading and managing the work of a workforce of 183 employees. Not only that, besides working dedicatedly behind my job, I managed to prepare myself for clearing out the exams for qualifying as an internal auditor, as I am never satisfied with same old qualifications. I cleared the exam with excellence and got certified as an Internal Auditor for Integrated Management System based on (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007).

I believe that these unique blends of experiences has made me a person with an innovative point of view. This blend has given me a broader perspective to and a good understanding of life and a goal to aim for. Among other things, I have this diversity of experience to offer this university. The transition to Sany Heavy Industries India marked a new-step in my career. As a team leader, I was entrusted with the responsibility on sophisticated, intriguing and challenging projects that lead me in learning to handle work force and sketching out new procedures to ensure that goals are achieved in time. I also became acquainted with the entire life cycle of technology and product development at a much deeper level, had the opportunity to understand and handle international clients and production as my company frequently trusted, and trusts me for business trips abroad. My career has thus evolved from that of an engineer to a professional capable of understanding management ways in every corner, technological and business developments and also leading technical teams and employees to deliver outstanding project results.

I want to do Masters in Management program because I want to change my career path. I am very fascinated with the strategies that companies use to adapt to changes in consumers' needs and expectations and how they maintain profitable business in rigorous environment. Managing and administration are meta-skills, and people will always need them. Learning them gives me options. Options are opportunities, and I am an absolute opportunist. I consider Masters in Management at Monash University to be the best move I can do for my career, and I am extremely motivated to pursue one. I wish to expand my knowledge of business management and managerial tools. By doing this course I hope to attain a deeper understanding of management concepts and be able to apply those concepts to real life situations on the job. I hope to improve my negotiating skills and to gain more experience in getting group members to carry their own weight. At the same time, I do not want to be a tyrant. To be effective, it is important for a manager to maintain the proper balance of power and compassion. Only in this way, will I be able to lead a team of people to realizing the goals of the firm.

I am sure that I can acquire this valuable knowledge only from Monash University. I am fascinated by the university's international rankings and the praises of the former students. I find this University to be highly prestigious and it ensures me that the school will propel my career in the right direction. The provided course curriculum is exactly what I am looking for, as it will give me many different career options. From all the testimonies I have read, it is clear that this Master program would open me the doors to the thriving world of managing businesses, working in well-renowned companies and enabling me to launch a successful international career. This program will also bring together participants from all over the world, due to which I will be able to experience diverse cultures and develop international networks.
