I, now, find myself approaching the end of my full-fledged student phase with the start of my Master's programme at Aston University and I was never going to let go the golden opportunity to gain some exposure in the UK as it provides me, a person from a small family business background, to be introduced to a vast knowledge base yet to be discovered and tap into it.

I am a computer engineering graduate and that degree provided me with a technical point of view towards things which provided me with a great advantage but I felt a lack of adequate knowledge and exposure to help me monetise the idea that was derived out of the different point of view I possess.

When my application at the Aston University was accepted, my happiness knew no bounds as Aston Business School is regarded as one of the top business schools. Studying at this university has so many plus points like the quality of education, location and campus culture which I never got to experience in Mumbai. The opportunity to go abroad, away from my comfort zone to explore the limits of my capabilities and the chance to accelerate my growth and change my future is something that my choice to study entrepreneurship at Aston University has given me.

There always has been a deep connection with the sports culture in England. As I hail from India, I have always been a big cricket fan and also a big follower of English Football and due to this I very well know how big a football club Aston Villa is. I was heartbroken when I learnt about the news that Aston Villa lost the 3rd Place Play-off but I am very optimistic about their chances this season.

The course I will be studying at Aston University will help me learn things in ways I would not be able to if I had decided to pursue my Master's Degree in India. I look forward to my post-graduation degree at Aston University. This September will be the start of my new chapter and I am very excited, also with the prospect of being an Aston Villa Scholar.
