being happy in work means being happy in life. most people spend around 40 years working five days a week eight hours a day. when employees are satisfied in their jobs meaning they have positive attitudes they will also be content in other parts of their life like with family and friends. I believe that two factors which are significant for job satisfaction are high salary and safe environment. however, job satisfaction is not possible for all workers.
money is an important part of being satisfied with work but not every job pays well.
when an employee is paid well, they feel their work is valuable and they are appreciated. also they can use the money to buy nice objects are good services. for instance, my uncle Adam works as a physician and makes around ten thousand dollars a month. he uses this money to buy nice cars and travel abroad to Europe yearly. he feels that his work is valued partly because of his salary.
however, a good salary is not given for all workers such as a dishwasher in restaurants or housekeepers in hotels. In addition , not all employees are satisfied in this respect.
optimal working condition is the main key. because employees spend much time in their work environment each week its important for every companies to optimize working circumstances. such things as providing spacious work areas rather than cramped ones adequate lighting and comfortable work stations contribute to favourable work conditions. providing productivity tools such as upgraded information technology to help employees accomplish tasks more efficiently contributes to job satisfaction as well.
since successful companies are built on the backs of satisfied and motivated employees it would seem like a no-brainer that organizations would care deeply about employee satisfaction. believe it or not 70% of us workers hate their jobs according to a recent study castillo 2015 there are many reasons why that might be the case. some employees hate their bosses. others hate their co-workers while still others simply feel disconnected to the team. there are those who feel as though their hard work is never recognized. some workers feel expendable. others believe theyre underpaid.
in brief people suppose a job is good or bad mainly basing on their personal interest and how much they can earn from it.in my opinion organizations should provide the needs to their workers in order to enhance profit and satisfaction.
