In order to gauge whether the learners achieved the objectives of the training, the trainees would answer an evaluation material. The evaluation would focus on real-life situations that the trainees would have to deal with in their job. The way by which they answer these questions that are patterned after real-life scenarios would identify whether the trainees indeed learn something from the training (The Development Company, 2004). In order to make the training effective, it is essential that the proper training materials and activities would be used.

The training should have at least two major parts. The first part is the information dissemination section that would contain the lecture materials, which will allow the trainees to have the necessary knowledge about the skills that they need to learn or develop. Afterwards, the second part would focus on the application of this knowledge to the responsibilities of an executive assistant and the challenges they have to face everyday in their work.

Lastly, the facilitators of the training should also have an effective introduction to start the training. They should use an opening that would capture the attention of the trainees and they could be able to do so by making a statement that is connected with the everyday activities and interests (The Development Company, 2004).
