With the histrionic advance in the technological world, it would be difficult to play down the significance of Management in the business today. It is against this atmosphere that I have realized the need to pursue further education in Management at the ESC Clermont Graduate School of Management in order to realize my career objectives, which is to establish a thriving career in Management field. I chose to enrol my Master's In Management (MIM) program with you because I strongly believe that your course structure, academic excellence and career support will help me to achieve my career goals.

MIM course will prepare me as future manager to understand the complex interrelation between relevant business topics. It usually features a significant focus on leadership skills, personal development and teamwork exercises which are important components of MIM course. I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Calcutta and attained first class honours. I chose this field due to my keen interest towards accountancy subject since class 10th. After the completion of my bachelor’s degree, I was recruited at Santoshi Transport Pvt Ltd as an Assistant Accounts Officer where my primary role was related to accounting work and the secondary role was managing all office activities work.

In that company, my responsibilities were to checking internal controls of accounts, vouching of books, processing of payment and expenditure and managing other office activities such as drafting notices, preparing tax-related documents, etc. These were incredibly valuable opportunities to learn accounting work practically. As a result, I gained considerable experience of Books of Accounts. But, after one and a half year of doing the job, I realized that I was lacking behind with interpersonal skills, decision making and management skills. This situation has defined my goals, a career in management. Therefore, to step ahead in the job ladder towards management level position, I determined to pursue MIM. It is because this MIM program has core management subjects and decision-making tools which will strengthen my position, keep me competitive and deepen my business knowledge while acquiring new managerial skills necessary in the corporate sector. In addition to this, I met some of the professionals who are at the management level in different companies during this two years of employment. They also gave me precious advice to join MIM program right now for taking managerial work experience in the future. So I strongly inspired to start MIM program with your school to begin my career in management field.
In order to achieve management level position in future, I soon realized the goals. My Short term Goals are- first, - to acquire master in management degree from your school in the next two years while also mastering English and French language. Second – after completing MIM I would like to work to take managerial experience in a company/consultancy firm on entry-level managerial position such as an assistant manager or project manager or business analyst for the next five to seven years. In those years, I will equip myself with managerial experience and necessary skills. Furthermore, my long-run vision is to achieve a senior managerial position in a large multinational corporation or top consultancy firms. One of my highest aspirations is the leader who establishes or significantly advances, such a corporation. To achieve my long-term career goals, I need the theoretical knowledge and international practical exposure to all aspects of business disciplines, such as accountancy, marketing, operations, and most importantly, entrepreneurship that will complement my experiences in building and leading a big and successful team.
I believe that to achieve the above goals in my life, lack of management experience right now, lack of skills and meeting with professional people from that background encouraged and motivated me to do masters in management. MIM will help me to develop my interpersonal skills, be a quick problem solver and overall, I will know how to apply managerial theory to the real world of business. At the end of the course, I will have a clear understanding of how a business operates considering the socio-economic environment and I will be able to manage the challenges of global affairs.
I choose ESC Clermont GSM for my career due to very important reasons.

3. DUAL DEGREE- Your MIM program is structured in such a way that a student can have an option of taking a dual degree. I am also looking for MSc in Project management dual degree option as start-up project is part of the first semester. One can get expertise by taking dual degree option.
