Why I want to attend Duke university?

Duke University is consistently ranked as one of the top schools in the nation. It is currently ranked at number eight in the country and is one of the most prestigious universities in America. I would love to go to Duke University because of its distinguished education, beautiful campus, and most importantly its stellar basketball program.

Duke University provides one of the best educations money can buy. Known as the Harvard of the South, all Duke professors are well educated and established in their field, and most do their best to pass on their expertise in a simple but challenging manner.

The classes are rigorous but they will prepare you for the career you want. You can find just about any classes you are interested in. With majors ranging from Forrest Sciences to Romance Languages you can study just about anything here. Along with small class sizes and great administration your education is in the right hands at Duke.

In addition to outstanding academics, Duke University has a beautiful campus surrounded by nature.

Duke has won four NCAA championships and appeared in 10 Championship Games and has an NCAA-best .748 NCAA tournament winning percentage. 11 Duke players have been named the National Player of the Year, and 71 players have been selected in the NBA Draft. They are led by a great coaching staff ad have thousands of supporting fans. The students at Duke take pride in their team and it shows at games and tournaments which motivates them to do well.

All in all Duke University is the perfect school to attend and has the total package. Top-notch academics along with a beautiful campus and location, and superior basketball and athletics make going to Duke University a win-win opportunity for me.
