The planet on which humanity dwells is in a state of emergency. There are select members of society that do not give the situation much thought, but the condition of the Earth’s atmosphere is degrading, and it will spell major trouble for future generations if no action is taken. There is a major difference between facts that are verified by scientific studies and fiction that puts up a façade of truth. There are a few international agreements in existence that aim to curtail the use of non-renewable energy sources but considering the recent political climate like the United States pulling out of the Paris agreement and general underinvestment in preserving the environment, the efforts in battling climate change appear to be in vain.

Coal is a non-renewable resource that has been around for a very long time and mining companies continue to depend on it due to the reality that it is a lucrative business. Nevertheless, continued reliance on fossil fuels rather than switching over to renewable resources such as wind and solar energy will inflict irreversible damage to the global atmosphere and cause abnormal climate change.

However, instead of utilizing those funds to help preserve humanity, they are being redirected to projects that are capable of extinguishing scores of human lives such as tanks, fighter jets, and nuclear weaponry.

This event has gained both the attention and financial support of major car manufacturers such as Renault, Citroen, and Audi (Ewing). Cars are not the only vehicles that are receiving alternative-fuel treatment. In Europe, the world's first hydrogen-powered train has been developed and it is in active service. Unlike diesel trains, their emissions are not harmful to the environment and they can operate without using a third-rail or overhead catenary wiring.
