As seen, logos can be an effective technique for influencing an audience. Another strategy Momoa uses is emotion. The use of emotion to influence an audience is known as pathos. For instance, Momoa states "we are a disease that is infecting our own planet". This quote is an example of pathos because he attempts to make the audience feel frightened and concerned.

Jason Momoa uses ethical appeals as well to convince his readers. This appeal possesses the name ethos.

Ethos means to convince an audience of the author's credibility or character. A display of ethos in Momoa’s speech would be that he is a native Hawaiian. This advantage Momoa has provides him with credibility be he is a Hawaiian-born actor.

Knowing this information gives people faith that he knows what he is talking about. Another example of this strategy is his knowledge of climate change.
