The caffeine in energy drinks increases heart rates, which over time can increase your chances of stroke and heart disease. C. Once we are aware of the ingredients contained in energy drinks and the side effects resulting from their consumption, we can make a concerted effort to limit accessibility to these drinks. C. We as adults should become proactive. Knowledge is power and alerting each other and our teens to the potential danger of these beverages is vital.
