A good neighbor is someone who respects other people and helps them if necessary. In my opinion, good neighbors are rare and some people do not even know who their neighbors are. First of all, a good neighbor is not noisy and they do not ask you personal questions. In addition, they do not make a lot of noise when you want to relax or sleep. Of course, they should invite you to a party because good neighbors are also friendly.

You should be able to pop in and chat to your neighbor and have a cup of tea together.

Good neighbors are also willing to help you if you need them. In other words a good neighbor shows kindness or helpfulness to ward his or her fellow humans: to be a good neighbor to some one in distress. There are some qualities of good neighbor. The first quality of good neighbor is helpfulness. Helpfulness is the best characteristic of a good neighbor.

Because whenever bad things happen to me, only my relatives or my close neighbors maybe help me to overcome the problems. However, my relatives may be far from me so my good neighbors can provide the immediate help.

In the same way, a good neighbor who likes to help others will get help in return. So help each others can form a friendly and harmonious relationship among the good neighbors. For example, I have good neighbor, whose name is Charles, last year I got sick . At the time I didn’t have any stand by relative, but my good neighbor Charles calls emergency and took me a hospital.

Therefore, helpfulness is the best identification of good neighbor. The second quality of good neighbor is being very reliable. I can trust my good neighbor only if he or she is reliable person.

That makes me feel safe to associate with him/her. Imaging that if my neighbor is not reliable, I will feel good about having my neighbor look after my baby even though he or she offers to do so. Do I dare to leave my door key to my neighbor whenever I go out for my holiday? Obviously, reliability is not only builds the good neighbor but also is the quality of good person. And it is the foundation of a good relationship. For example, my sister always left her door key to her good neighbor Jessica, when she ants to go somewhere.

There fore, a good neighbor is trustworthy and sensible enough to not leak out ones family secret. The third quality of good neighbor is being friendly. A good neighbor is someone who is nice and approachable. No one says you have to be best friends with the person across the hall, but you should at least be able to smile and say hello to the person and receive some sort of friendly response, as opposed to a glare or simply being ignored. A friendly neighbor is nearly impossible to frame as a lier.

If you are scum and receive a friendly neighbor greeting, you probably are not served by lying and saying you didn't get it. For example, Mike is my friendly neighbor; we always after school and after work met and talk about daily hot issues like football news politics and others. Having a friendly neighbor is used to have fun and enjoy. In conclusion, reliability, helpfulness and friendly are three main qualities of a good neighbor. Because reliability develops the good relationship, helpfulness keeps the relationship remaining for a long time, and friendly helps to share ideas frankly and enjoy together.
