The so-called murder of former rapper Tupac is unsolved but most people believe Keefe D and members of his gang are responsible. Tupac’s death is thought to be traced back to rival gangs which Tupac was apart of. ¨Tupac was shot four times while riding with music producer Suge Knight¨(Tupac Shakur dies). Tupac lived through the incident but he died in a hospital due to the injuries he received that night. This was not the first time Tupac was shot at, he suffered bullet wounds during a robbery years before September 7th 1996.¨Tupac was involved in a violent altercation with a man after a Mike Tyson fight which could have provoked the shooting¨ (Tupac Shakur dies). According to Tupac’s murder revealed, the man that Tupac hit died while LAPD had him as their number one suspect.
LAPD couldn’t arrest him to get a statement from him about the incident because of his death. A documentary revealed that”Keefe D also admitted he knows who the shooter is but refused to reveal who the man was¨ (Tupac’s murder revealed). ¨Keefe on a taped recording admitted that Orlando Anderson was the shooter¨(Tupac’s murder revealed). Orlando was killed before LAPD could prove or get a testament from him. Leaving the investigation open also open to different opinions and conspiracies. This leads most people to believe that rapper Keefe D should be arrested for being an accomplice.
The real shooter has yet to be proven and is hard to find evidence that Orlando Anderson was the shooter since he died two years after Tupac’s death. Still, no arrests to this day have been made by LAPD. One theory is that Tupac never died and is still living in Cuba. This conspiracy is believed that Tupac was only injured not killed from the accident. According to Jessica Gibb Tupac was smuggled out of the country by men from the black panther organization after he was injured. Jessica Gibb also quoted apart from an interview with TMZ that a man claims he was in a security team that was responsible for moving Tupac Shakur out of the country. Jessica Gibb got a quote from the security team member “Why do you think no one been arrested if they said they the one that did it”.
Could Tupac still be alive and could he be writing music for other artists or is the investigation still open? Tupac’s death shocked the music world because of how much of an influence he was. He paved the way for many other artists in the rap industry. He used his music not just to enjoy but to inspire people and educate them about what happens in the world. Many people believe that Tupac was and still is the best rap artist ever to pick up the mic.
