Susan B. Anthony was an American women’s rights activist, abolitionist, and suffragette who played a vital role in enabling women to attain the right to vote. She was also a leading politician, author, and lecturer. Along with Elizabeth Cady Stanton, she founded the National Woman Suffrage Association in 1869. Anthony dedicated her life to securing equality for women and was a pioneer in the battle for social justice.
