Statement of Intent

I would like to introduce myself with a brief description about my academic and professional carrier.

I have done my primary and secondary education from a very vibrant culturally diverse institute where I was thought and encouraged into a lot of extra circular activities which helped me grow and shape my professional carrier. I was fortunate to join Vignan Institution of Information and Technology (VIIT) to do my Bachelors of Technology in Electronics and communication engineering with specialization in Digital electronics ,Finance and Management Sciences.

After my Bachelors, I started my professional career in Small scale sustainable infrastructure and development fund (S3IDF) as a Research Associate and went on to become an Assistant Manager at KSK Mahanadi Power Company in the Project Management department. During my years of experience I handled more than 6 projects across various locations in India and was fortunate to work with multicultural people.

My contribution towards my work has been recognized and the company has certified my achievements and honored me for my professional skills. This gave me an interest and curiosity to grow and explore more career opportunities and started exploring the chances to set up my career in International Corporation.

During this journey I realized I need to study management studies to improve my skills and found this particular program "Global Management program" at Royal Roads University. This program relates with what I have achieved in my career and supports my future through various academics like international business communications, strategies, leading the workforce and intercultural studies which can help me to represent myself and prove my ability globally.

I was able to achieve a Band of 7.0 in my IELTS academics to support my application for the admission in the University.

After consulting with students who attended this course, I feel this program will give a great opportunity to learn about different domains in terms of culture and managerial skills etc. I found that the Royal Roads University will let the students to know the staff and the faculty while the completion of the course and beyond that they maintain the same relationship with students after the program completion which I found will be helpful to grow further in their career, which is also very rare quality to find in other universities. The RRU pre master's program (PMP) will make a better path to begin my academic studies that can boost any student's confidence and I hope the internship project will make a gateway for the world of opportunities.

I hope to contribute my learning's and share the knowledge I gained in my experience which I shall be appreciated and certified by the college and the company with my fellow students while I am in the program. The best way to make it possible is to have group discussions frequently about the cumulative topics, If possible paper presentations on new methods and strategies that are applicable worldwide. I was an active participant in the events conducted in my college and I led the 4 members group in my previous job (including six project teams where I was the single point contact for various locations in India). I strongly believe I can make a remarkable contribution towards experiencing the growth in learning as a member in a group.

In the coming decade I trust that this program will definitely set an international platform for my career. I want to see myself in a managerial position and believe that I can achieve this by learning international managerial skills and management techniques from global management program. I am confident that the Masters of Global Management program at Royal Roads University will help me build a foundation in achieving my dream career in management and help me be prepared for the global challenges.

I am looking forward to study Global Management program at your esteemed University and show my gratitude to the admission committee for taking time and doing the needful.
