Specifically assigned to the Concierge Department at Marriott Hotel and Resorts for a comprehensive 38-day training period, I delved into the multifaceted aspects of guest services, baggage management, and the intricate dynamics of creating lasting impressions in the realm of Tourism. This essay aims to delve into the critical facets of my OJT experience, emphasizing the importance of guest impression, safety protocols, passion for service, and courtesy in the pursuit of excellence in the hospitality sector.
Within the Tourism Industry, where impressions are paramount, I discovered the profound impact a simple smile and a friendly demeanor can have on guests.
The importance of fostering a welcoming environment cannot be overstated; it not only leaves a positive imprint on the guests but also serves as an encouragement for them to revisit the establishment. As a practitioner in the Concierge Department, I became acutely aware of the role impressions play in shaping the overall guest experience.
This revelation underscored the significance of not only meeting but exceeding guest expectations.
Moreover, the safety and security of guests and their belongings emerged as top priorities.
