If mathematics is a number, I would say it is prime, not because it is mostly odd, rather because of its singularity aspects. Mathematics is a subject that attempts to find the unknowns, and at times questions the realism of the known, hence its difficulty. Being a graduate student of mathematics have always festinated me to explore the mathematical world. From both theoretical and practical point of view a mathematician can explore the puzzle of science advancement by sequence of possibilities.
I have been reading many mathematical journals for the past several years and the sheer interest of those hypotheses makes my passion of the subject in esteem dimension. The refinement of this subject as well as its rationality produce the greatest realm in any branch of science that has intensified also my objective of continuing it a higher academic journey.
During my academic years, I have always driven myself to be able to acquire my potential and to cope with any circumstances which may hinder me achieving my goal.
I have had the opportunity to deal with a wide range of branches of mathematics and I must say that I am always enthusiastic and hopeful for “abstract part” of mathematics (namely: set theory, abstract algebra, linear algebra, mathematical analysis, etc) in addition to its applications. I have always liked working with partial differential equation and efficient use of Fourier analysis techniques as well as their applications in the theory of PDE’s. I would also like to stress my interest in complex analysis and operator theory.
Moreover, I enjoy working with special functions (namely: Bessel polynomials) which are currently very active areas of research that overlap with many others areas of mathematics, such as harmonic analysis, mathematical physics, classical and quantum groups. By far my favorite courses throughout my academic life are geometry of two and three dimensions, differential equations, abstract algebra, complex analysis and theory of relativity. Although there was a limited space for learning algebraic topology and number theory but I always passionate to learn more about those subject. My prime area of mathematical interest is in partial differential equations more specifically in boundary-value problems with applications.
This application is very crucial to me due to completion of an M.sc degree(thesis based) in Mathematics will be the best chance for a research oriented career development. I am optimistic that when I become sincere and mature researcher, my desire to make a contribution to mathematics and to our understanding of this planet will prevail my main driving force. I hope that I will be accepted as a prime applicant for your world class graduate program in mathematics. I understand that this Msc Fellowship is competitive, but I am also confident that I'm qualified and eager, and prepared to meet all of its challenges. I would be most grateful if you could give my application your most favorable consideration based on my potential, responsibility, and passion for studying mathematics.
