I am Mana M Alzahrni..I have two daughters (Rahef, Rinaad) I have been teaching for 10 years. My specific major in the English Language. The BLCSI program is comprehensive. America has made many contributions in the field of education. The program is divided two main section: the first, to acquire the English language and look for different theories and educational philosophies that are used in American schools. The second section is the immersion level; we are being immersed in American schools to touch the practical theory.
I have noticed a lot of strategies have been used in American schools. I want to take them back to my country such as; grouping students by ability.
The methods I used to acheive my goal to attend reading, writing, math and communication classes, and attend workshops about the modern ways of the learning process (I sat in front). Also, I should watch TED Talks, and discovered apps like: Kahoot to follow the latest strategies in education fields.
Research advantages about ability grouping students. I observed differences in the leveled classes in my immersion.
I have worked as English teacher since 2010 which means I have experience in the education field for 8 years. I graduated from the University Taif which is located in Taif City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of English Language. I went to California to improve my language in 2012. I obtained 3 semesters intensive langauge certificates. My goals at ELI are to Improve my English communication to my highest level possible on the IELTS, accumulate real life classroom experience in K – 12 setting, improve my use of PowerPoint and other technology and develop a Mentor Guided Capstone Project to implement upon returning home.
Education is important for all human beings around the world.
So, this right needs to be organized due to the conditions of societies and the level of educational students. Pupils are the center of the education process, therefore, we as teachers have to choose the philosophy which will help them make progress. These philosophies are divided into five major philosophies: Essentialism, Progressivism, Perennialism, Social Reconstracturism and Progressivism. Each teacher selects those philosophies he thinks will be successful in reaching success with his students. Using those philosophies requires some helping factors, but also there are some difficulties faced along the way to reach the ultimate goal of achievement.
Some of the helping factors include the quality of students and the facility of the school. These tools give the teacher the options to choose which philosophy he may apply. For example, if the school has all tools such as PowerPoint, the teacher can fluctuate between those philosophies. They will help the teacher to verify his philosophy which is fit for them. Otherwise, the suitable philosophy for them it should be Essentialism or Progressivism. Also, the environment of the school must be prepared by all equipment that help the education be easier. It is supposed to have the all modern technology and visual aids also a lot of labs. Moeclear, the audible lab helps teacher to use Profgressivism and Perennialism philosophy. Therefore, the environments and the learners are the extremely indispensable elements to achieve the educational philosophy.
According to me as a member in the education sector, I prefer to apply two philosophy: Essentialism and Progressivism. Because I teach English Language, students over their consider it difficult and no need to learn any foreign language. So, the first job for me is raising the level of desire to accept it. This make me to use Essentialism as the most philosophy. Students should be immersed in the contents of English Subject and know at least about the English and keep plenty of new vocabulary and how they use them with their meaning. When the teacher notice that they released from their shyness and fears, he should to move up to another lessons more difficult such as passage or grammar lessons.

There are many elements that affect the features of the learners that make them up individual class. Some of these components are:
In my immersion school, I have seen classes such as Language Arts and Math ability grouped. They are grouped into three levels: regular, advanced and gifted. I see a difference in the level of students, material, homework and abilities. The gifted students are more competitive with each other as compared to the regular and advanced classes.
My action plan when I return is to make a diagnostic exam for pupils and then classify them based on their result. This should be done from an early age through high school. I will start with my grade and my colleagues to become the model for ability grouping. Teachers and principals are invited to come see the difference ability grouping makes in achievement. I am sure that ability grouping will leave a lasting impact on my students and change the ways of teaching in my country.
In conclusion, the ability of grouping students is the most important strategy in modern education because it help teacher to know the style of learning and materials who should use in his classroom . Also, it is wonderful strategy for students either to exchange information in a particular subject.
