It is disheartening that over fifteen years elapsed since the inception of this violence and nine years since the Pyrates Confraternity raised a national alarm before the nation collectively decided to confront this issue. Nevertheless, acknowledging the problem and taking decisive action, even belatedly, is a crucial step in the right direction.
