Yes, we can! Yes, we can!' With these words, Barack Obama inspired many people in America and around the world. By doing so, he became the first black president of the United States. He received vast respect from many nations because he always tried maintaining peace in the world, for which he also received the Nobel Peace Prize. Obama achieved lots in his life. His most astonishing achievement is him becoming the first black president of the USA, regardless his skin color.

His difficult childhood didn't prevent him from giving up on his goal: equality and justice for all.

Barack Hussein Obama was born August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii. His parents met in the University of Hawaii. They married in 1961, while marriage between black and white people was forbidden in many other places in America. This probably caused a much trouble in their relationship, which might have been the reason Obama's parents divorced, not long after Barack Obama was born. Obama saw his father only once, after his parents divorced, when he was 10 years old.

Soon after, Obama and his mother followed him to Jakarta. In 1970, Obama's stepsister, Maya, was born. From first to fourth grade Obama attended a private and catholic school in Jakarta. Due to many incidents, Obama's mother sent him to live with his maternal grandparents in Hawaii. Also, his mother and half-sister joined him soon. In fifth to twelfth grade, Obama went to a private school located in Hawaii.

Obama struggled in school because of racism. Obama finished his college degree with diploma magna cum laude. In fact, he was only one of three black people in his school. His biological father passed away in a car accident. Soon, there was a turning point in Obama's life, which led to him achieving many brilliant things.

Barack Obama has achieved many stunning things in his life which people will always remember him for. To begin with, his greatest achievement was becoming the first black president of the United States. His way to this position was very tough and effortful. In 1989, Obama was in a law firm of Sidley, where he met Michelle LaVaughn Robertson, his future wife. In Chicago, Illinois 1992, Obama joined the Democratic Party. This was the start to his successful political career. In the time period of 1992-2004, he worked in a law firm as a lawyer. At the same time, he was involved in various social-political and civil-law organizations. In 1995, he published his first book Dreams from my Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance. In 2006, the audiobook was awarded a Grammy Award for best spoken word. Also, he became a member of the Senate of the Illinois State. In his private life, he married his girlfriend, Michelle Robinson and they had two daughters together. In 2005-2008, he served as U.S. Senator. Obama fought for better health care services and education programs for people, especially the poor.

On the 20. January 2008, Obama was elected the 44th president of the United States. As a matter of fact, he received more votes than any presidential candidate had ever received. Another surprising thing is that Obama managed to end the long-lasting war in Iraq. Otherwise, he always tried helping with ending all the conflicts between many countries. For all his efforts, he received the Nobel Prize of Piece in 2009. Regardless the astonishing things he has performed, some might argue if he even deserves all his fame. Many people argue Barack Obama deserves to be famous. Some people are very famous without barely doing anything good. Some are born in wealthy and prominent families and are just handed over fame; others have done terrible things and are known worldwide for it.

Many say that people who do good to mankind deserve to be famous. One of those people is Barack Obama. He dedicated his life to fight for the justice of all humans, regardless of skin-color or wealth. He cared a lot about poor, homeless people, so they have good education and affordable health insurance. It can be debated that Obama will never be forgotten for all the breath-taking things he has achieved. To summarize, Barack Obama defied the odds of black men in America. He did not have the easiest life growing up since he was ill-treated because of his skin-color. Obama attended to very well-respected universities. He is very well known for becoming the first black African American president. Despite that, black people didn't have many rights in the USA.

Obama gave other black people, great hopes that one day skin color will not play a role, and everyone would be treated equally. Obama fulfilled his promise and fought for equality and justice. It is discussed that Obama deserves to be famous. He undoubtedly does, because he worked very hard to achieve his goals, like equality for all. He cared about the health of poor and education of young people. One should certainly do further research on Barack Obama to find out more about his astonishing and fascinating life. All in all, Obama will always have a place in history. He will never be forgotten for the remarkable changes he has done to make the world a better place.
