Everyone has friends. Friends are people whom one can trust with one’s deepest secrets, knowing that they will not be betrayed. True friends surround one with good vibes and never discourage one with what they love to do. In any friendship, anyone can find the similarities and differences between the two. The two friends seem to walk, talk, and act the same. In contrary, they are so different that it is a wonder how they are still friends to this day.
This is how it works in the friendship of Haley and Samantha.
Both Haley and Samantha have a degree in Criminal Justice. Haley received her degree from the University of Alabama, while Samantha’s came from John Jay’s School of Criminal Justice. Samantha is a highway patrol officer for the Hattiesburg Police Department, and Haley works for Summerall Police Department. They both are Christians and go to Temple Church on Sundays and Wednesdays. Sam and Haley love to go across the country together to hunt all types of wildlife.

Their families are both from Mississippi and have stayed there for most of their lives. Samantha and Haley are both Latin-American and, speak English and Spanish.
The similarities and differences even each other out. Samantha is clean and has everything in proper order. Everything must be in tip-top shape, or it is all wrong. Samantha is five foot seven and a hair over 130 pounds. She is from a suburban family and has always lived comfortably. She has also always has been on A- Honor Roll her whole school career.
Samantha is very driven and knows that she wants to move up the ladder of the Criminal Justice System. Haley, on the other hand, is five foot two and 150 pounds. She is not from a great family, so she has grown up to be harsh and cold when she has to be. School has always been a troubling matter for Haley, and she passed with B’s and C’s. Aside from being a Highway Patrol Officer, she wants to stay where she is at in the ranking.
Overall, they will always be like family. Friends all come in different shapes, and no group is entirely alike. They can come from the same country, background, religion, or the environment. Also, sometimes the best person one can surround themselves with is someone that is entirely different or completely the same. When one has that person they can rely on or count on, they can bring the best out of one another. Haley and Samantha have a common bond that will last forever.
