The richness of the past is history. Time is now right to talk of the present that surrounds us. We are fortunate to be living the dream visualized by our forefathers.
Independence Day, a day to remember the past and pay tribute, a day to look ahead and plan to shine bright and a day to celebrate our togetherness, our love for the motherland and above all to display "Unity in Diversity". India's independence was gained at a cost. Agony, anguish, pain, separation, revolts, sufferings, miseries and tears; it was not at all easy to tread the path which led to freedom.
Thus today it is upto each one of us to safeguard the dignity and pride of our country.
On this august day we are proud and honoured to have with us Dr. Surajmani Stella Kujur, Deputy Director of Education, (District- South East) New Delhi.
We would like to convey to you ma'am, our profound gratitude for accepting our invitation to grace the occasion.

Jaidev Gupta ji for taking time out to be with us today. Sir has worked assiduously towards the holistic growth of the school and ensured education of the highest quality. Your co-operation and support has been our backbone Sir, without which maintaining the moral and academic standards would have not been possible.

We are appreciative of the parents for entrusting the care of their loved ones to us.
I am optimistic that the students and parents shall continue to walk hand in hand to steer our children towards a brighter future.
I also take this opportunity to salute my teachers who work tirelessly with an undaunting spirit, a positive attitude , an unbending resolve and a strong commitment to spread awareness, knowledge and good values.
With this as an invocation and a commitment, we care takers, facilitators and all of us as co learners welcome you to Summer Fields- a universe which pulsates with the dreams and aspirations of each aspirant who is or aspires to be a new Buddha, a Gandhi, a C.V. Raman or a Florence Nightingale.
India is a country of striking contrasts and enormous ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity. Todays' India is a country fast emerging as a force to be reckoned with and her youth takes pride in being Indian. It is not just enough to talk about patriotism and sacrifice.
Our tradition teaches tolerance, our philosophy preaches compassion and our constitution reinforces secularism. At Summer Fields we are committed never to dilute it. Our students are ready to rise up to the challenges to serve their motherland.
