Regardless of the roads, we travel and the obstacles we may or may not face it’s important to live our life by never stop dreaming and believing in ourselves. Dreams are vital to our psyche, although they can affect us both negatively and positively, so feed your mind positive thoughts because you will get what your program and your actions will be aligned to what's in your thoughts. Dreams give birth to hope and hope strengthens our faith; together all three are the fuel which helps us to get out of bed each day so we may live our life.

When you dream either sleep wise or your wishes and hopes, it's easy for it to become true. With any protest or historic event in our history, it all started with one person's dream which they turned into real life. Dreams can sometimes turn out into something long-term or end after a few years. Either way, their effect on us can differ.

When I was younger my dream was becoming a doctor. I would walk around with a doctor's kit, and a lab coat “diagnosing” others, and using my plastic toy stethoscope to hear people’s heart.

It was what I considered the next passion that I would complete. It wasn't the most practical thing at the time and was more complicated to become than I thought it would be. For years I would drag my family to play doctor with me; I would walk around saying how I am going to grow up to become a pediatrician.

Until one Christmas when I was 7, I got my first trolley doctor play set had a fake screen which showed someone's heartbeat; This made me even more positive what I was supposed to be in life. Years later I had the same mindset of what I could be.

I’m not exactly sure when the passion for it broke. The onset of the symptoms was too slow and subtle to detect. I just remember growing bored and agitated by the predictable rah-rah advice from personal development gurus and their aspiring offspring.

Except for one day I didn't feel the excitement or passion I used to have, What once filled me with happiness turned into something where, I didn't feel what so important about it, and didn't see what was so good about becoming one. It happened so fast that I didn't realize it months later I didn't play with my medical kits or my trolley. The passion was gone. It wasn't the most fun thing when I realized I didn't want to be a pediatrician, I felt like I was disappointing myself. After all those years of me thinking how I would become the best pediatrician in the whole world, thinking about all the lives I could save, and an inspiration I could be; My dreams were so-called “over” towards my dream profession. I did try to get interested in it again by watching classic doctor shows like Doc McStuffins and doctor who (they didn't even help), but was disappointed by the results I had gotten from watching it. As disappointed as I was I realized later in life, this was all a part of my path even if it was either in the present, future, or even my choices in my past which I have to go through trial and errors to reach my goal.

I'm happy I had a dream to be a doctor, It made me feel unique and happy at the time being. For the time I had been enjoying it. Although I don't know at this point what my dreams might be in the future and for college; I'm not worried because we all are endowed to find it and can follow it to see where it can take us.
