If I were to be chosen to sing at a talent show, I would select a song that reflects my attitude towards the twists and turns that I have experienced throughout my life This song would be easily understandable and relatable to people of all ages, My purpose would be to effectively communicate a message that has made a positive impact on my life, and make it equally meaningful to everyone listening. “Life is a Highway” originally sung by Tom Cochrane is a timeless classic about life’s journeys that would engage and inspire my audience through its universal message and positive vibes My experiences reflect the ideas alluded to in “Life is a Highway”.
Upon entering college, I was aware that l was a dedicated student, but lacked confidence in myself when 1 compared myself to others. I was constantly surrounded by outspoken, extroverted business students who seemed to be the embodiment of the perfect leader I saw my shy, introverted personality as an impediment that would stop me from ever becoming a leaderr However, throughout my first year of college, by means of my classes and my involvement in my school’s business club, I grew as a leader.
The doubt I had in myself quickly dissolved, and my emergence as a leader became most evident when I was elected President of my business club.

In a similar manner, I aspire to touch people’s lives. I yearn to be a positive influence on those of all generations in all that I do.
I will motivate those who have been faced with some difficulties and are on the verge of giving up by showing them that I too have overcome hard times. I will remind them that “Life is a Highway” and although it may seem to be a perplexing idea, this journey called “life” does continue. By choosing this song, I hope excite people into optimistically embracing life. The lyrics of “Life is a Highway" reflect my approach to dealing with the ups and downs of life: I have learned to embrace time as it rushes by ever-so»quickly, persist through the difficulties that I must face, and anticipate the future optimistically. The experiences I’ve had and the memories I’ve gained on this highway are unforgettable. They have helped me grow into who 1 am and who 1 am becoming and have encouraged me to persist, leaving me eager to await what lies ahead.
