As we all know, technology has big development these years. For example, mobile phones have more and more technology, like Iphone X has face ID. Obviously, technology has deep influence to our life.
Technology has greatly improved our life. I will talk about 5 points. First of all, it makes our life more convenient. For example, airplanes and high speed railway can save up us a lot of time. When I was a child, I should pay more than 6 hours to Guangzhou by car.
But this semester I went to school by high-speed rail just use 3 hours. What`s more, as a college student, technology can improve my study efficiency. I can search the Internet for information I want, and I can use computer to do my homework, it is more quickly than I write. Besides, modern medicine prolongs people`s life and relieves patients of sufferings from many diseases. Cancer and AIDS are fatal to people`s health. Thanks to the endeavors scientists have made, these diseases become treatable.

The fourth good influence that technology has much is research. If a school's library is outdated or lacking in a selection of titles, a student might find it difficult to compile the necessary research for an essay or research paper. As long as the school has a computer lab, students are able to use the Internet and digital encyclopedias to obtain the research they need. The last is globalization. The Internet makes the earth a village. We can use Internet contact our friends who live in foreign countries.

But every coin has two sides. The process of scientific development also arouses many sever problems to our human beings. Now people have mobile phone, they use it all the time they are free. Social isolation is characterized by a lack of contact with other people in normal daily living, such as, the workplace, with friends and in social activities. We isolate ourselves by walking around in our own little world, listening to our iPods or staring at the screen of the latest mobile device even when we are around other people. Studies have shown that people who are socially isolated will live shorter lives. Internet addiction also makes people lack of social skills. The use of online social media outlets causes us to meet face-to-face with much less frequency resulting in a lack of much needed social skills. We lose the ability to read body language and social cues in other people.
The most seriously problem of technology is poor sleep habits. This I have the experience deeply! When I go to bed at 11, I usually use my phone. Until I realize I must sleep. It often takes me 1-3 hours. So, keeping technology out of the bedroom would be a very healthy habit to acquire.
In a word, technology achieves with good and bad influence. But they always do more good than harm. Human beings need technology.
