What is the value of life? Life is given by god a very special value of which many people sometimes forget to thank or may regret. It's about connecting the dots. Life gives many situations for you to learn from. Every situation life throws at you shapes you into the person you are and the person you will become in the future. Steve Jobs felt that life was worth living even though life had some difficult situations and choices that came along to toughen his life.

Steve Jobs gave a speech at Stanford University on June 12, 2005. He started his speech by talking about how when he was born his mother put him up for adoption. During his speech, he said that his biological mother graduated from college and wanted whoever adopted him to also have gone to college. His parents put him through college but then he decided college wasn't for him, so he ended up dropping out. His dropping out was one of the many situations he learned from.

Steve Jobs dropped out of college after realizing it wasn't for him. He wanted to see what his life was worth. He ended up starting up his company after leaving college. Steve has realized that things can change from one day to the next like one day you can be the most the wealthiest person on earth, and the next day you can lose everything. He ended up getting fired from Apple which he created. He never gave up though after getting fired he eventually started another company called Pixar which is the most successful animation studio.

Jobs then found out that he had pancreatic cancer and they told him he only had a few months to live because they said it wasn't cured able. They told him that he may only have 3-6 months to live and to go talk to and tell his family whatever he had to tell them. It was one of those situations that life throw at him that shaped him into the person he was. He ended up taking an x-ray to find out that they can cure him with surgery, and he ended up having the surgery.

Steve Jobs had situations thrown at him, but he never gave up. He dropped out of college he got fired from a company that he created. Throw all the problems Jobs went through he never gave up. Listening to Steve Jobs's commencement really says a lot as to never give up even though you are going through a tough time. Life throws a lot at people but no matter what it is or what the situation is never given up cause you were put into that situation for a reason and it is going to make you stronger for the future.
