When Tybalt wanted to fight Romeo but he didn’t. Tybalt was dueling mercutio and romeo came and then Romeo killed tybalt and Tybalt killed Mercutio. So here is one lesson, don’t fight someone because you can get hurt or kill the other person or yourself. You can also get in trouble for fighting as well. Romeo killed Tybalt because he had a sword so don’t bring weapons to fights either. Benvolio is all about peace and he doesn’t like violence and was trying to get everyone to calm down but it didn’t work.

The definition of violence is using or involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something. Another example of violence is between the two families in Romeo and Juliet are always fighting back and forth and they never get along. Just like when they got into a pity fight in act 1 scene 1 in the streets of verona. That is another lesson because if you fight in public you could get jumped by the other dude friends if they are around or if they know where y'all are going to fight at.

So always be careful about that as well. So there are a lot of reasons why violence is not the answer you just couldn’t name all of them because there are so many reasons why.

Another example of violence in the story is when mercutio is making fun of Tybalt fighting style and it makes Tybalt really mad.

Mercutio fights Tybalt and receives a fatal wound. As he dies, he continues to talk with his usual cynical wit. He imagines himself after his death in strictly physical and very unromantic terms: as meat for worms. This marks a turning point in play. Up until now, violence has only been threatened, and for the characters and the audience alike it’s been more a source of excitement than grief. Now, one of the play’s most appealing characters is dying. From this point forward, the play’s violence will be brutal and unrelenting. Tybalt will die, then Paris, and finally Romeo and Juliet.That is the end result of why you don’t make fun of someone. The action of Romeo and Juliet opens with Samson boasting that he is a violent man. When some Montague servants appear, he draws his sword and asks his companion Gregory to start a quarrel that might lead to a fight. This opening establishes that Verona is a place where violence can break out over nothing. Samson and Gregory and their Montague opponents are all afraid of breaking the law, which reminds us that the punishment for fighting is every bit as violent as the fighting itself.

From the beginning of the play, all the young men involved in the feud are trapped between two threats of violence: the violence of their enemies and the violence of the Prince, who has threatened to execute anyone who continues the feud. This helps create the play’s sense of confinement. This is how violence is shown in Romeo and Juliet. It shows how prejudice leads to escalating violence. Prejudice leads to violence shown in the play when the feuding families the Montagues and Capulets fight. In addition the prejudice between families got even worse when Tybalt kills Mercutio. The main character in Romeo and Juliet that shows the most violence is Tybalt. So Tybalt is extremely feisty and likes starting conflict between the Montagues and his family. He is strong willed, argumentative, passionate and loyal. Tybalt is always trying to seek his revenge by fighting with Romeo, but when Romeo refuses to fight he kills Romeo best friend Mercutio instead.

The conflict in Romeo and Juliet also shows violence as well and her is how it shows violence. It is between their families the Montagues and the Capulets. All of the other problems in the plot stem from this feud and the two lovers must keep their love a secret and go to great lengths to fight the greater forces against them. That is the main part of violence of the story. Violence is never the answer to anything even if that other person is making you really mad. So just try to ignore it and if not then take matter into your hands is all i can say. Whatever happens next is all on you, not me. It's the other person's fault for making you so mad. So they are getting what they deserve. Hate is also another type of violence in a way so i'm just going to this out of the way too. Romeo describes the hate he feels when Tybalt kills his friend Mercutio as a fire raging inside him.

“Fire-eyed fury be my conduct now” he says. The Prince is similar to ordering the families to quench the fire of your pernicious rage. But Romeo uses similar imagery when burning with passion for Juliet. So if you understand what they are trying to say is that Romeo hates is telling us why he hates Tybalt. You can almost just feel the violence in the story if you understand where they are coming from. You just have to be able to understand their point of view. If you can do that then you feel it and understand it a little bit better. So now you understand violence a little bit more, you understand why people are fighting about it.
