Social – Customers tend to try a variation of products from different companies and shades and after they have found the one product they like the most from one company, they will most likely stick with the same company and products making them become brand loyalists. Also brand loyalty goes within and through the company for example if someone buys from the Beauty BLVD like there top of the range glitter lips and then they bring out a new product or another shade for example, there loyal customers will buy it because they love the company so much it will be awesome and better than others. However with Beauty BLVD being so small at the moment they are fighting to get attention in such a saturated market to get people to start being loyal to them.They also have got to make sure everyone likes it and there products are very good and well and people leave good reviews. As one bad review being seen can put people away from getting any of the products.

Technology – The internet has revolutionized the beauty industry and you can buy pretty much buy any products and get it delivered to your door in a few days. And for a start-up business like Beauty BLVD it’s a fight amongst similar brands to keep their products on the shelves and to also keep up with the demand for orders and logistics within the company.Any new brand can sell their products through amazon quite easily. Many do sell directly through there site (e-commerce) with no plans to ever put their products in stores and only go online. The reason being it's quite expensive and difficult to get shelf room in retails stores. Big brands are well-known with higher chance of keeping their customer base however as Beauty BLVD is just a start-up they haven’t got all the customer base yet and will struggle to get good deals with companies.

Legal – Legal does play a big part in a beauty industry. Reason being the ingredients that they use can be FDA-regulated without being FDA-approved. The leading laws for the industry are The Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) and then Fair Packaging and Labelling Act (FPLA).

The FD&C monitors ingredients based on their use while the FD&C ensures there’s misinformation branded on the products. There are any issue, there’s a high chance the product may not reach shelves. Also they may even require a recall.Also some ingredients aren’t up to code (as deemed by the FDA) they can be banned, which is common in many countries outside of the United States.

Environmental - The beauty industry is leading towards being more “green”. Their packaging is becoming increasingly eco-friendly which Beauty BLVD. Some ingredients used to have “micro beads” which were on the headlines as they use to be made of plastic and were horrid for the environment so most companies changed and stopped using it to support the environment. Outside of skin care, the type of ingredients used in everything from shampoo to skin care can have nasty effects on the environments. However brands now are taking steps to improve the ill effects on the environment.

Beauty BLVD is taking good steps to not take easy bad shortcuts to make their product cheaper, they don’t mind the bigger price as long as it is friendly, but as a start-up company it is hard to do.
