Digital Information is electronic information, the result of computer processing. Every type of job relies upon getting information, using it, managing it, and relaying information to others. Computers enable the efficient processing and storage of information. The used of the manual processes in the business has decline since the rise of computerized and automated systems. And in fact, nowadays, the use of computer-based business system has become prevalent al throughout the developed and developing countries around the word due to the increased productivity and efficiency of the data.
Every small business owner performs more than one role for his company. One of the most important tasks in running a small business is completing payroll. Employees need to be able to rely on being paid on a consistent basis without delays. Payroll affects every aspects of a small business from the morale of employees to the financial stability of the company. In order to pay their employees for services rendered, employers must devise a payroll system.
Through this system the employer performs payroll processing, which must be done in a timely and accurate manner to ensure that employees receive their paychecks accordingly. The payroll system involves everything that has to do with the payment of employees and the filing of employment taxes. This includes keeping track of hours, calculating wages, withholding taxes and other deductions, printing and delivering checks and paying employment taxes to the government is entirely up the employer.
Objectives of the study
This study aimed to determine the effectiveness and reliability of Payroll System for Racal Motor Sales Corporation. This study will improve the consistency of Payroll System of Racal Motor Sales Corporation.
More specifically, its aims are as follows:
To minimize the manual checking of each daily time records. To keep and generate accurate reports on employee’s income. To effectively assess and monitor the status of employee’s loan and other deductions such as cash advance and charges.
Purpose and description of the study
The Payroll System aimed to improve the consistency of management preparation. This study could be beneficial to the employee and also to the management of Racal Motor Sales Corporation in such a way that the system provides organized and computerized records of the employee’s income. This system will also help to improve the manual checking of employee’s report.
Scope and Limitation
This system will only be used for Payroll transactions by Racal Motor Sales Corporation. This system will cover the process of preparing the paycheck of the employee, monitors loans, cash advances. Keeping the records and easily compute the basic pay, regular overtime pay, special and legal holiday pay, Gross pay, Net pay, SSS, Pag-ibig and Phil Health Contributions and other deductions.
REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE
This chapter indicates the ideas relevant to the present subject to other studies and is briefly discussed to provide the foundation of the proposed system. In order to develop a new method and properties, careful review of literature and studies must be done for the development of the system.

For the software to run, it is a must to consider the necessary hardware requirements to assure proper software accommodation thus, aiding efficient software operation. The following are the necessary hardware requirements to assure proper accommodation and functionality for the proposed system.

Memory: Minimum of 2GB RAM
Hard Disk: Minimum of 500 GB
VGA colored monitor or LCD type colored monitor
Mouse/ track ball or wireless mouse
In developing the proposed system, the researchers used the applicable and compatible programs and software.
This system is compatible in different operating system such as Window XP, Windows Vista and Windows

This system is applicable in Microsoft Access 2003 and 2007.
