My Home Essay
My house is in Shastri Nagar, New Delhi. It is a quite new house. It was built only one year back. It has two storeys. My grandparents and my uncle live on the ground floor. On the ground floor we have a drawing room, two bedrooms, and a kitchen. We live on the first floor. On the first floor we have three bed rooms and a kitchen. It has also a dining room, a study room and a guest room. My sister and study in the study room. The rooms are well-lighted and airy. All the floors have marble tiles. My parents have decorated my house with paintings and pictures. We always keep our house neat and clean.
The open terrace is in front of the garden. This makes our house more beautiful. There is also a water-pump in my house. I daily water the plants in the garden. My house is the best house in the colony. So I am very proud of my house. I love my house very much. I live at Lajpat Nagar. It is one of the best colonies of Delhi. We are living in this house since 1980. Our house is situated on the Ring Road. Our house is three-storeyed. I live with my elder sister on the first floor, which has two bed rooms, a huge drawing room, kitchen and store room. The rooms are well-furnished.
All the rooms are airy and ventilated. My sister and 1 have decorated the drawing room. It has a sofa set, a dining table, a T. V. set and in the centre a big carpet. When people look at my house from the street, they see, right away, the high trees around my house and the brickwork roof of it. When you enter the front door you can see the huge chandelier in the top of the entrance hallway. Also, you’ll definitely notice the white marbled stairs up to the first floor. In the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one bathroom and a large living room. The living room, which is the room that I really like in my house, has two big sofas and a very nice massage chair. And with an amazingly huge LCD screen in it, it is quite nice for watching movies and having some popcorn at night!

She waits for me at the school gate during the last period. My mother cooks food for us.
As she is a teacher, she prepares food in the morning and preserves it properly for lunch. My sister who stays in the college hostel often comes and helps my mother in her work. I sometimes play interesting jokes with my grand-father and grand-mother. I am very fond of our garden. I water the flower plants at my leisure. When my grand-father goes to the cowshed, I go with him. I often kiss the little calf. When someone of my home falls ill, I take proper care. My uncle comes to our family every month. He brings sweets for me. Sometimes the friends of my father come and take dinner here.
