Players need to coordinate with their teammates to master the art of defense, learn to pass and move, and get ready to attack and score those points and goals needed to win. This can be done in a number of ways such as outscoring the opposite team. Team members set goals, make decisions, communicate, manage conflict, and solve problems in a supportive, trusting atmosphere in order to accomplish their objectives. Example of which is:

  • Soccer- Soccer is also known as association football, is often called the “beautiful game” and is one of the most popular sports on the planet. Whether it is played on a street corner or in front of thousands of fans, the sport combines speed, strength, and skill to produce an exciting spectacle.
  • Baseball- Since its earliest mention in he middle of the 18th century, baseball has grown to become America’s nation sport. Its aim is the pitcher will throw, or pitches the ball at the batter. And the batter will try to score as many runs as possible. The most spectacular way to do this is by hitting a home run.
  • Basketball- Fast and furious, and physical, basketball is a breathtaking sport where players shoot a ball at high hoops to score points. It is played in many countries around the world, and is very popular in the United States.
  • Volleyball- Volleyball is an amazing popular sport that is played in nearly every country on the planet Its aim is each team (which consist of six players) try to score points by hitting a ball over a net so it bounces in the other team’s half of the court, or the other team cannot return it.
  • Football- Football is a fast and aggressive full-contact contest where two teams try to pass, carry, and force the ball toward their opponents’ end zone. Each team is divided into three units: offense, defense, and special teams.

Again being part of a team is a good way to make friends and allows you to learn from others. If you haven’t found your favorite team sport yet, there are many more to choose from. Why not try one of those.

Partnership sports

Partnership sports is a dual sport in which are played by two players striving onone goal. Best example of which is racket sports. Racket sports are mix of power, speed, and technique. Players need excellent hand-eye coordination to follow and strike fast- moving balls and birdies, in addition to a delicate touch to outwit their opponents. Players also need high levels of concentration, determination, and stamina to cope with the long matches and important match-winning moments.

  • Tennis- Tennis is played on a variety of surfaces, including clay, concrete, and grass. Tennis players need to be fast o reach all parts of the court. Top players combine speed with great coordination and a variety of shots to defeat their opponents.
  • Table tennis- Also known as ping pong, table tennis is a fast-paced indoor racket game. Players will try to smash and spin the ball to trick opponents and win points. Table tennis matches are won by the first player to win three or five games.
  • Badminton- With a highest recorded birdie speed of more than 185 mph (300kph), badminton is one of the quickest and most exciting racket sports to play and watch. A game of badminton is won when a player or team scores 21 points. Games must be won by two clear points.
  • Squash- This fast-paced and physically exhausting sport was developed more than 140 years ago. The aim of this game is the players hit the ball against a front wall to score points. The ball can come off the side walls and the back wall, as long as it hits the front wall and stays below the out line and above the tin, which runs along the bottom of the front wall.

All racket sports test a player’s concentration and coordination. Some racket sports are fast and powerful; others require good technique and precisions.

Individual Sports

There are certain sports that requires individuals to showcase their talents without any need of a partner or a team. For the most part, are considered individual sports, which are sports played alone without teammates. The best example of it is the combat sports. In the combat arena, some of the fittest and strongest athlete in the world strike, grapple, or use weapons against each other to decide the winner. These sports are not for the fainthearted, and there are strict rules to make the competition as safe as possible for all who take part. Example of which is:

  • Boxing- People have been boxing for thousands of years. In ancient Greece, the sport was part of the Olympics as long ago as 668 BCE. Today, boxing has progressed from bare knuckle street bouts to a high-profile, big-money sport.
  • Wrestling- People have been wrestling for thousands of years, making it one of the oldest sports in the world. Its aim is wrestlers are awarded points for various moves, including throws. The wrestlers with he most points at the end of a bout wins.
  • Judo- The word judo means “gentle way”. With no kicking, punching, or weapons involved, this martial art relies on skill and cunning tactics rather than brute strength.

Combat sports require discipline and dedication. If you have this commitment then you can easily step from one combat sport to another.

CONCLUSION

I conclude that the main goal on why human get involve in sports is to promote fair play, healthy competition, and personal fitness. For every type of sports has its own characteristics, strategies, rules and making it fun and playable. And we can gain new friends in just playing these types of games in which we can benefit in any ways. Winning or achieving something is the other reason why human get involve in sports, it is the exchange of the long hours they’ve practiced, the dedication, the commitment, the discipline and converting it to a long term respect.
