Hinduism or Sanatana Dharma originated in India some 4000 years ago. It was the religion of an ancient people known as the Aryans whose philosophy, culture, and customs in their sacred texts known as the Vedas are preserved. The fundamental teaching of Hinduism, or Vedanta, is that the essential essence of a human being is not limited to his body or mind. Beyond these two is God’s spirit or light inside the soul. The spirit is in us and in all that we see.
In its very nature, all life and all things are really this pure or holy spirit, full of love, full of joy and knowledge, ever united with God.
More strikingly than any other major religious group, Hindus are accepting and celebrating the organic, multi-level, and often pluralistic essence of their rituals. The Hindu believes that Hinduism is not only a religion but it is the way of life. Hinduism in India developed out of changes in Indian culture and religion.
Hinduism like every religion in the world, it is the most secular religion that preaches unity in all acts and religions.
You can hardly find fanatics in Hindu culture, all the knowledge of culture was passed down over millions of years in the form of poetry, Hindu artifacts found by archeologists date folders than the oldest known Greek civilization, the impact and clearly visible in their mythology. Hinduism in India requires the practitioner to be open to all ideas and beliefs that make religion the most resilient and this is why it is the oldest living religion in known humanity.
