Glittering Achievements: A Tale of Triumph at the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony

Annual prize distribution ceremony is an occasion to celebrate the achievements of people who have attained excellence in their academic and co-curricular activities. It is a time of joy and pleasure for them. These types of occasions must come in one’s life at least once. Our Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on Second November 2019. I woke up 7’o clock that day, I was very happy thinking that how I had achieved an inspiration and how my vision had changed in to reality.

I changed my clothes to get ready for ceremony.

On the arrival we were given marvelous reception, the stage was well decorated and it was the clear confirmation of the hard work of the management. The dais was set on the right side of the stage with collage logo imprinted on it. Some chairs for the special guests were set in the center of stage behind the dais. Those chairs were decorated with red and white ribbons twisted with each other.

Soon chief guests came and took their respective seats on stage. Finally the awaited ceremony was going to start at its scheduled time.

Host came and took his position on dais, He cleared his throat in mic which was the indication for the audience to maintain the silence. Host called a student for recitation of Holy Quran. His voice was melodious and clear which moved some people and guests in to tears. Afterward ceremony progressed and my anxiety begin to increase. My eyes were stuck on heap of gold medals.

They were shining like sun.

Now chief guests were called at the front of the stage to give medals to the deserving students. They were started calling outstanding students names. My heart was beating furiously and finally they said it which I wanted to hear. Slowly I stood up and walked toward stage with my eyes towards the ground. They handed me award and placed the medal around my neck, it was still shining. I saw my parents eyes welled up with tears. They were proud on me and now I was feeling complete. At the end host again called chief guests to give their speech. They warmly addressed us and gave us more motivation to be successful.

They declared the ceremony closed and then we clicked photographs for our memory. The ceremony may have come to an end but happiness, gratification, pride and honor is something that I can carry throughout my life.   The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony held on November 2, 2019, was a culmination of dreams and achievements. As I prepared for the event, the anticipation of receiving recognition for my efforts filled me with happiness. The grand reception and meticulously decorated stage reflected the dedication of the management.

The ceremony commenced with a moving recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a solemn tone. As the proceedings unfolded, my excitement intensified, knowing that a moment of pride awaited. The announcement of outstanding students' names sent my heart pounding. When my name was called, I approached the stage with humility, and the gleaming gold medal became a symbol of my hard work.

Seeing the tears of pride in my parents' eyes made the accomplishment even more profound. The chief guests' speeches resonated with motivation, leaving us inspired for future success. Although the ceremony concluded, the memories of joy, gratitude, and honor will linger, enriching my life's tapestry.
