Forgiveness is the act of letting go of resentment and anger towards someone who has wronged us, while revenge is the act of retaliating to someone’s wrongdoing out of spite and anger. Forgiveness is nobler than revenge because it takes strength and courage to forgive someone who has caused us pain, and it promotes healing and peace. Revenge, on the other hand, only perpetuates the cycle of hurt and creates more negativity in the world. Forgiveness allows us to move on and live a fulfilling life, while revenge only entangles us in a web of negativity and bitterness.
