During unsystematic observation, we evaluate hypotheses based on the observations we make. When we observe things, we have to be careful and avoid hypothesizing about them. We all use unsystematic observation every day, but we may not be aware of this process as it is ongoing. We use it to observe new people, to see if we can tell where they come from, their age, and sometimes even more. Our feelings about the information we receive reveal that this process is ongoing.
