The Brother Grimms version of Cinderella is very different compared to the Walt Disney version of the fairytale. Unlike in the Disney version of Cinderella in the Brother Grimms version Cinderella’s father isn’t died his alive. However, he did remarry and Cinderella does have two stepsisters who he allows to treat Cinderella as a servant. Instead of a fairy godmother who grants Cinderella wishes she had a tree that she planted by her mother’s grave that she visits everyday and prays under.
