A barangay is the smallest administrative division in the Philippines.There are so many barangay in our country and each one has their own uniqueness and individuality. center3402965 Our barangay, Brgy.74 has also a uniqueness and individuality. Our barangay promotes health and safety for the citizens, enhances the right of the people to a balanced ecology and equality, they are also encouraging and supporting the individuals , in short, our barangay is moving as one or let me say our barangay is UNITED but still we encounters some common problems.

Brgy.74 is located at HEROES DEL 96, SAMSON ROAD CALOOCAN CITY. The landmark is the Bestfriend food chain. From bestfriend food chain it is 3 minutes walk to be in our barangay and it is 240 meters away.

ECOLOGICAL FRAME WORK

Physical condition of barangay is very important, because the physical condition of one baranay reflects the citizens itself. The physical condition is the attractive one in sight of the other people. Our barangay, barangay 74 is nice to see, even though it’s small but still its clean and well organized.

The land area is not that large but it’s fine and it’s enough. Our barangay has also boundaries, from Masagana Street to Calaanan Street. I know that it is not that large area you expected and our barangay will be improving year by year. Barangay 74 provides service institution like “Little Angel Day care center”. The purpose of this Day care center is to provide quality child day care benefiting the child, the parent and the community.

This program is designed to meet the special needs of infant and preschool children. 291528549885603219454923155In our barangay you can see some vehicles that used for transportation like jeepneys, tricycle, truck, and taxi. Those vehicles are very useful for transportation

LIFE ACTIVITIES

Each individual has life activities. Life activity means acvities within an individual's place of residence, in outdoor environments. In our barangay the head of the family doing his job for his family. Jobs that will suit them like construction worker, drver, and office worker.

Mother, Mom, or I can say ‘mama”. In barangay 74 some mothers also doing their job for her family; those works are manicure, pedicure, health care, parlors, sale’s lady, and office mom

The role of the youth is to study well. In our barangay, some of youths are just a “tambay” and the other is in school youth, and some is none school youth.
The role of children is giving an inspiration to their parents and go to school and more important of all give the happiness. Most of the children in our barangay are playing the Pilipino games like tumbang preso, piko, patintero.and habulan. The role of the leaders is to guide their member and to to his job. In our barangay, our leader is doing his best for his citizrns sake for him to be a good model in society.

COMMON PROBLEM OF THE PEOPLE

Each barangay has a common problem by their people, staffs, and citizens. Common problems like peace and order, health and sanitation, utilities and facilities, and moral problems. rightbottom33369253732530Barangay 74 meets that kind of common problem, in peace and order, because of those criminal (magnanakaw) the peace and order is not maintain in our barangay, as well as the drunked people that will fight in any moment, because of them our barangay meet the peace and order problem. Health sanitation is also one of the common problem meets by our barangay,the problem are those children that has no home to live in and those children that need more vitamins for their health. The utilities is also one of the common problem that meets by our barangay, those men that will make the wall as their utility area are not helping the society, so our barangay needs an improvement. lefttop

E. GOODNESS OF LIFE

The location of our barangay is at HEROS DEL 96 , SAMSON ROAD CALOOCAN CITY. This location of our barangay is not that large so the maintaining of peace and order is continuously. Peace and order is the most important aspect of one barangay, so our barangay captain doing his best to continuously maintain the peace and order of our place. Barangay 74 has available jobs for some citizens most of all the needy. The available jobs in our barangay are street sweepers that will help to maintain the cleanliness of our area. Tanod is also one of the available job in our barangay , tanod will help us to maintain tha goodness , the peace and the order of our barangay.

OTHER NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE

Barangay 74 needed a financial support or barangay buget. Aside from being a financial plan, the barangay budget serves as an instrument for barangay officials to effectively manage the development of the barangay . A well-prepared barangay budget serves as basis for:

•Planning and policy adoption
•Program and project implementation
•Financial control
•Management information

Budget is the other need of people here in our barangay. Budget will also help for improving our barangay .
