Globalization is the spread of economies to create one worldwide economy.

Modern technology has played a role in globalization because without it the constant communication needed for a global economy would not be possible.

Globalization of culture is manifested in the landscape because people look for familiar places and things which changes the landscape over time.

The communication revolution played a role in globalization by allowing people to spread ideas and cultures. An example of this is Christianity to Africa.

An example of reaction against globalism and globalization is when countries like China begin to make themselves more economically dependent.

Density is the frequency in which something occurs in space.

Concentration is the extent of a feature's spread over space.

The two kinds of concentrations are clustered and dispersed.

The two different types of patterns are grid patterns and linear distributions.

Gender role in geography determines where most men and women work, live, and participate in activities, like sports and ballet.

Ethnicity plays a role in geography because blacks and white may live in different neighborhoods and go to different places.

Sexual orientation plays a role in geography because gays usually live and operate establishments in the same areas/neighborhoods as other gays.
