Have you seen a homeless person recently? It’s sad, isn’t it? Now imagine that being you. Stop taking advantage of your education and start being at the top of the ladder. “Don’t let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do,” John Wooden. In order to be a successful student, you need to have an optimistic mindset; study regularly, and stay active in your school work. These three suggestions will help you to be the best you can be in your academics.

Negativity instills failure. This means what you think you can do is what you have limit yourself to. If I keep saying I can’t do something then I have set myself up for failure, disappointment and not being able to accomplish what I've said I cannot do. What you set your mind to you can achieve. It is all about the mindset. Some tips are stated after this sentence that will help you to have an optimistic mindset.

Think positive to be a successful student. Choose to think in a different way; look at things in a different light or perspective. Be open-minded and remember there is always another chance. Don’t be so hard on yourself; encourage yourself. Be realistic; know what you can do and cannot do. Get rid of insecurity! Having insecurity is as powerless as a tadpole.

Also, watch colorful, bright, vivid inspirational or motivational videos to help or even motivate you to be optimistic. Talk nicely to your beautiful self when you're thinking negative to deter negative, evil thoughts.

Bravely Push yourself and have a thriving mindset. Look up amazing famous quotes; it might help you to think in a creative way and be more positive. Reward yourself greatly when you are feeding yourself optimism and doing admirably in school to promote positivity. Remember it is not the end of the world if you fail terribly or get a horrible grade; you can try and try again. You could set intelligent reminders; write in a cute journal; write on post-it notes that are pretty; and put up gorgeous pictures around the room and bathroom on positive reminders, to enhance your ability to be optimistic.

You think not studying will help you to be a successful student? To start off you need to know what type of learner you are (auditory, visual or tactile). If you want to study regularly in the most effective way the following are great tips you can use. Make time out your day to study (schedule). Join, ask and go to study groups. Watch videos online based on your topic from class. You should ask for help; find a tutor; go to labs that help; go to the teacher private time (office hours) and set meetings. Start to focus on topics you have difficulties with and go over what was discussed in class each day. Make sure to do quizzes, course work, homework, unfinished work, and all assignments. Put your electronics devices of distraction away to help you study. Use electronic devices wisely and in a productive way; download school apps.

I wish you met John; he played online games on topics he found difficult. He also made up an intellectual game to try to make studying more fun. John would always ask his friends or Suzy Surman to quiz him, which explained why he attained such marvelous high grades. Suzy Surman seemed so sympathetic. “Switch up your study habits, be creative,” he said with enthusiasm to me the other day. Sometimes I’d see him in a quiet area looking over his book, making notes from his textbook and putting it in his own words. Yesterday he was tiresome, so he then blasted soothing and calming music to help him stay awake. He shared a secret with me, telling me to listen to music that had the topic from class in it. For example, John searched up the ecosystem on YouTube and they had songs that helped you with the topic.

You're such a lazy dog, wasting time doing nothing productive. In order to change that and be a successful student, you also need to stay active in your school work. Some tips in order to stay active in your school work are do the assignments, tests, exams or pop-up quizzes and show up to do school work. Remember to ask what you’ve missed if you were absent. Try not to miss days of school, the result of this would be to miss out on vital information. Don’t make excuses for not wanting to do school work. Take notes when the teacher is talking. Pay attention to not miss a thing. Don’t put friends, partying or events ahead of school work. Do school work ahead of time, any chance after it has been assigned. Stop Procrastination. Set reminders when due dates are and set a time in which you want to get it done. Check your grades and progress.

You use up millions and billions of hours doing nothing with your life! Being a successful student gets you where you want to be in life and being an unsuccessful student puts you where you thought you wouldn’t be. A successful student is more likely to get a scholarship and a job faster than a student who isn’t. My reason for an optimistic mindset is the fact that negative people who doubt their selves are most likely to get the grade they do not want; and so, you need to be able to motivate yourself to be a successful student. My reason for stating that you need to study regularly is that you cannot get your best grade if you don’t study. Also, if you don’t stay active in your school work, how will your overall grade look? Not good. By following the multiple tips and the three main advice you are most likely to be a successful student.
