Visiting Bagumbayan Light and Sound Museum

I remembered going to this Light and Sound Museum because we were required to visit this museum last school year in our RPH class. At first, I thought the museum is just small but the inside is actually spacious. A diorama of one of the fights battled between the Filipinos and Spaniards. The exhibition hall was separated into various rooms. Every last one of them is portraying a portion of the features of Philippine history. It has dioramas-moving reproductions of individuals and items put in scenes that recount to the momentous accounts of the Philippines ' past.

Statues of the diverse Filipino heroes were set inside the Lights and Sounds Museum. Every scene is to be experienced individually. It is significantly described by a voice over with some mood melodies. The lights are additionally set up to direct the consideration of the crowd to the principal characters. A tour guide is additionally present to lead the group of spectators starting with one room then onto the next.

There was even a room displaying the characters of Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. It was pleasant to return by and by to the books composed by Jose Rizal but this time with sculptures, mannequins, and many more. The point of the historical center is to retell the historical backdrop of The Philippines to the neighborhood and outside guests in an intelligent and fun setting. Another feature of the show is the narrative of how Intramuros was constructed. I have discovered that the Filipinos were not permitted to enter Intramuros with the exception of the slaves. As a result of the Lights and Sounds Museum, I have discovered that normal Filipino was not permitted to enter the dividers of Intramuros in those days. It was selective to the Spaniards. It was additionally said that the Spaniards made it a glad spot holding feasts inside it and leaving the Filipinos outside and persecuted. The life of Jose Rizal when he was held captive in Fort Santiago was also shown. I really had a great time going to this museum. Other than learning about the past, I was really amazed as to how beautiful the sculptures and the big paintings were made.

If this is going to be compared with Lights and Sound Museum, I would say that I still had fun going to these museums but Lights and Sounds Museum really set up my standards for the museum because not just it is informative, I really feel like I was brought back to the past.

“If visiting a museum involves an educational experience, is there educational value in visiting a museum? Why or why not?” In discussing this question, among other issues, you may want to think about what is not said or presented in a museum.

Yes, because I think the aim of going to museums is to engage students to improve their interest and enthusiasm for their items and accumulations. I think the Lights and Sounds Museum should be set as a baseline among the museums in the Philippines.
