The Triumph of the 19th Amendment and Women's Liberation

Do you know a woman that likes being told what to do...no ? me either because women have a voice and freedom, they have a right to say and do what they want. They don’t like men to boss them around, all women are as equal as men and everyone else. The 19th amendment allowed all american women the right to vote and to have freedom, a right that is known as women’s suffrage and what all women in america dealt with and it was wrong and it was as if the women had to do what their husbands told them what to do and what the 19th Amendment states that the united states constitution forbids any united states citizen from being denied the right to vote based on the basis of gender.

The Amendment was needed because we needed a change because it was wrongful to women not being able to have a voice in the world that must have felt horrible because they were thought of as nothing, yes affrican american women were racially discriminated against and they were feared if they went to vote.

native american women had to wait until 1924 but other women were able to vote but native american women had to wait until 1924 when they were considered citizen.and even after the 19th amendment in 1920 colored women were kept away of the polls but why if they were allowed to they should have stood up even if they kept pushing them away they can make a change as well.

19th Amendment Passed June 4, 1919 by Congress and ratified on August 18, 1920.And a century of agitation over the right of women to vote stopped.May 21,1919 Representative of the United States James R. Mann, a republican from Illinois, was a chairman and was separated from the women's suffrage committee, and he thought it was wrong that only men like him could vote and have a voice that he thought was time for.The change and the house he proposed to approve the Susan Anthony amendment giving women the right to vote and to be equal to other Americans.

Voting guarantees political and economic advancement for women. The 19th Amendment helped millions of women in all facets of American life to move closer to equality. Women wanted employment opportunities, fairer compensation, childcare, sex education and birth control. And even today. Artists made political cartoons that mocked suffragists. And anti-suffragists did not want the vote they are speaking for women like if women said it but in reality women wanted freedom they were making up excuses to make it seem like they should provoke it because women are to busy at home with their kids what does that have to do with anything

Women have fought hard to fight for women's right it takes multiple of people to accomplish fighting for all women's equality and having a say in voting its motivational because women have the right to vote now and if we wouldn't have fought hard enough women would not have a say in anything like voting and women could get fired for being pregnant they couldnt even sue for sexual harassment what a shame because men could get away with anything before the 19th amendment and and they couldnt not get ivy leuge education because it was to challenging for women men say and women could not join the military because it was only for men but now both men and female can join any type of force.
