What makes difference between anime and american animation is a structure of itself. American animation mostly starts with a hero who finds his own fascinating ability and begins to fight of the bad guys. Animes has more "ordinary" story. Anime try to express vividly and truly as possible. In american animation All characters including good do not die nor eve bleed. Whether they falls from high place or hit by a object i the head they do not bleed. For their children they never includes a rosy tuff in their cartoons. Not only that their hair and their suit never seem to move at all. Are they wearing super spray on their hair and rubber suit? On the other hand anime try to move even one hair lively as possible.

As you see the stories are unthinkable. We can not predict what can happen to the story. Let us look at Superman. Yes kryptonite will make he weak for a while and of course he will get out of it. He will never lose his eye or his arm like Guts did in Berserk.

American animations are predictable and do not actually have to see an end to it. Only unpredictable stories helps audience to see it everytime but also a conflict in the story. In Love Hina there is two female character who are look analogous. one character comes out from beginning and geitaro thought she was to one who he promise tokyo university. After few episode later to that he finds she is not. he met another woman who is the promise one. He has two choices. How can he go out with these few month person forgetting about his fifteen year long love? Is story really goes that way? No one knew. That is why they watched every episode they can. In american episode. it is basically three steps. Bad guy do as his evil plans. He seems to succeed but good stops it. That is it. It is a trite story so there is nothing to it if you miss one episode. The main issue to the american anime is "good is always good and bad is always bad so good defeats bad."

And he reasoned that people are like maggot no worth living. Of course our hero kills him but what dark gatekeeper said make us think. That is why this anime was second place after love Hina last summer. in Infinite Ryvius kouji is a ordinary b-rated suck-up pilot of future. He never stood up for what he believe. He did what people told him to do and he did it with smile. his twin brother was opposite. he was Grade A he can fight and he always stood up for what he believe. Kouji never faced the problem he just walked away. He believed that it is best for everything. At the end he realized that he has to fight for what is right. he believed that even though there is no chance he should go for it. And he does that even getting shot by his best friend. After watching this people probably questioned themselves. what am i doing?

That is what anime does to people instead of telling them good is good and bad is bad like in the american animation. it makes people to question themselves what is bad and what is good. Evangelion is probably one of the most famous anime in US. It is known for its action and also complicity. First "evangelion" is the world for "evangelist" in Greek. At the end Evangelion is sacrificed on the cross like jesus did in order to complete the Instrumentality of Man Project. It was "a philosophical experiment intended to eliminate the inherent loneliness and isolation in mankind." At the end of TV series Shinji who is main character who is always feels isolated realized that it is normal to be like that and just one step to the life. It was one big lesson to the viewers. And that is why probably it is consider one of the best anime. Marvel comics has thousand of comic book selling it is one of the source that keeps up the company. They also have an action figure which makes quite money too. After that they are satisfied and sit back. The viewer would say "i saw it i enjoyed it so let see another cartoon." Anime is different. It would be embarrassment if a 30-year-old watch Tiny Toon Adventures.

However it is not embarrassing watching Dragonball. Anime tends to have more wide-receive of audience. Probably all disney movies are aimed for five to fifteen year olds. Anime animes for probably fifteen to sixty year old. It also was various genre mix together. It is for "everyone from innocent young children to perverted sex-starved man." America anime has only few genre: drama comic superhero. And they are distinctive and concentrated on one. Dragonball another worldwide known anime has following sequel: Dragonball which consist of 80 episodes. Dragonball z which consists of 280 episodes. Dragonball GT which consist of 65 episodes and they are making Dragonball AF which consist of 380 episodes. Instead of making people complain about it they just love it that it is coming out. Which means that dragonball created a mania who will love it every time they make it.

American animation tends to keep going and going and going by showing same episode again and again. People get sick and tire of it. Another thing that anime goes beyond American animation is unnecessity. games are one. pokemon is probably best selling game of the year in worldwide. there is action figure ad model to robot and character. there is a trading cards. There is posters. There is even music CD which is reported that it sells equivalently as famous japanese singer. What anime creator tries to do is to let people never forget it. people will never forget when people see it on the wall listen to the theme feel it by fingers and play it as game.

It makes them more and more into it. Animator think of anyway possible to people remember it. One of the famous event in Japan is costume wearing contest. People make their own costumes and enjoy themselves being the cartoon character. Yes Little mermaid is in various product like lunch box pencil dolls games and etc. But what is different from others like Tarzan product? They are same. Same product with different picture. In anime industry they have to think of new way because people soon will get tire of it and they succeed of doing that. For instance they made fifteen different vehicles to form a big robot.
