This is the stereotypical life of a drug dealer. This is what drug dealers so call "work". Work meaning a job where money is made selling drugs to whoever chooses to buy their products. It is hard to differentiate which is worse, the causes or effects of selling drugs.

The causes of selling drugs are the desperate need for money in most cases.

They think they can get rich overnight and that will solve their problems. Most of the "ghetto" drug dealers happen to grow up in that type environment all their life and they tend to pick it up. Selling is believed by the drug dealers as the easiest and quickest way to make money. It has become a trend for some people. Selling may be easy and fast, but it carries many consequences in return.

The grave effects of selling drugs is being killed in Drug War battles of drug dealers, sometimes innocent by-standards can be harmed. It may also harm the drug dealers themselves. If they get caught in possession of the drug, they will get a maximum of 30 years, depending on how much is in possession and that is a long and hard time to think about what they had done. Drug Dealing can be the addiction and cause addiction to drugs .It may be harder to quit taking the drugs and dealing because you get addicted to the "work" and products, than it is to get started.

Most people start off saying "I won't get caught, I know what I'm doing!!", but are always the ones that get caught and they're always the ones in jail serving time. Sometimes the business in selling doesn't always go methodically efficient, but on a good day they may make $300 easily, but on a bad day, they can make $0. The good streak may go on for a while, but that bad streak will hit long and real hard.

My opinion on this issue is to stop the people before they start. Selling drugs is not earning real money. Real Money is when your hard work, sweat is being put into the dollar bills that are placed into your palms with respect. It is not the capital money used in the market circle; it's the loose money outside the circle trying to make it into the circle. I know people who believe that, this is the best way to deal with their problems and I understand where they come from because money essential for them. I wish I could make some of them understand, that it is prideful to have your name personalized on the check, knowing how hard they worked for that money. Working at McDonald's is just as respectable at working as a doctor at a hospital. Although the doctor gets paid a lot more, both of them are working hard for their money. This is my personal opinion; I just wish that people would understand that Selling is not as easy as people make it sound.

In Conclusion, the causes and effects of selling drugs is not different in severity. Except causes can be changed by finding another solution to solve the issue, which will bring different positive effects into play. The causes of selling drugs are probably good reasons to start selling, obviously because it is quicker to make money, but the effects of selling is more consequential. The effects can result in jail time, addictiveness to the drugs and drug dealing, hunger for more money, and maybe even death. That's why before taking a risk, they should realize what the results of this is going to be.
